Anyone hear about the website http://hetexted.com/texts/popular? I'm addicted to it now XD It's a website for girls to post texts they get from guys when they're not sure what the texts mean. You can vote 'he's into you' 'he's not into you,' and 'jury's out.' You can also help a sista out and comment. Oh my gosh, some are really awful though XD

Just as long as these girls realize not EVERYTHING a guy texts has deeper levels of meaning... ::shifty:: "OMG!!! There's no emoticon!!! They're mad at me!!!" is not always true ::meev::

"Do you like Italian dressing or balsamic vinaigrette?" is probably not a hidden marrige proposal, unless you're in Japan where a guy asking a girl to make his miso soup is a VERY old-timey way of proposing marriage... Likewise, getting a text that says "Will you go out with me?" leading to a "Say no! He asked in a text, he can't be that serious!! Have you seen "Text Message Breakup? Ermahgerd!" is just a recipe for disaster.

But those sites are hilarious just for the wild conclusions everyone jumps to! Kind of the way Damn You Autocorrect is hysterical sometimes.

Your meme would be the lame pun coon :P

That site is silly. If I I liked someone I'd invite them over and be like, "Dude, I like you like a friggin glitter rainbow kitten."

And then we could watch House of 1000 Corpses to consecrate our love.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that texts are cheap. Literally. They cost nothing and are a fab way to pass a bus ride.

Did you even look at the website though? The ones aren't there aren't so stupid and most of them already have some sort of relationship with the guy. As if men were always 100% simple, geez. That just makes you look bad. I think the idea is kinda silly, but fun because there really are some weird texts from guys.

Some are really dumb though, I remember one guy sent a text saying "please stop" and she was like, "What does this mean?" ::meev:: I thought the one about the girl getting a "I like you" then when she didn't respond immediately he was like "kind of" was interesting. And she's like, "Kind of?" XD

I feel like your assumption though is similar to the whole "men have no feelings" and "men love football" thing.

PS: I'm not sure what type of flowers to get for the man who died. I want something flamboyant and bright.

Looking at the site, I dunno... I thought most of the texts were pretty straightforward and the girls were thinking too much into them to be honest. Stereotypically, men are more straightforward than women and a good number of these texts come from girls who are trying to be sneaky and guys don't really have a clue what the girl is talking about, so the guy tries to guess and the girl doesn't know how to process the (literal) response to her (figurative) question.

Though personally, I don't think I'd want to date a girl if I found out she was posting my texts on a public website and getting feedback from strangers about what I said and how I said it ::cop::

Yeah I see what you're saying when looking at the recent ones especially. But a lot of them are random texts sent by guys like "IMAX polar bears narrated by Meryl Streep!!"

I'm dying.

Have sweet dreams! K can't do it...hope you toss and turn and dream of billy goats eating your underpants.
Yo. Wanna hang out? Got the Twilight DVDs if you wanna come over this weekend.
SO ROMANTIC~

LOL, yeah I wouldn't like posting anything so I know what you mean (I hope my cool texts aren't being spread around.)

Usually if I don't know what to say then I just won't respond or ask the guy or I'll ask a close friend if I care enough XD

(my professor just read out an email from a student, now I don't feel bad for telling you guys about some texts I got :B)

You sound like my father, ahahaha~!

This one's just embarrassing:

"when I initiate texts he always responds in onomatopoeia"
I REALLY want to do this to someone now ::gaku::

PS: The Gandalf style video was so funny, thanks for that XD It reminded me of that Youtube series "epic rap battles in history," especially the one between Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. XD

My favorite part about this one is how she's like "He's hot and great in bed!", then calls him a pig, and then the majority of the comments are saying "If the sex is great, who cares?"

Lol go look up "completely wrong" on Google Images XD

But don't look up "cat and polka dots" because it's just a bunch of drawings of polka dot cats, not cats with polka dots. Cat and rainbow is ok though.

So I've been thinking about the Japanese ideal of cuteness for women and...it makes no sense...
Like, suddenly I couldn't understand it at all. If a westerner did it we'd be creepy as hell...yah?
Like, what even makes up feminine cute?

I remember a commercial on the train with an actress continually doing the head tilt and it just looked like her neck randomly lost the ability to support her head... I've always wondered about this one as well... ::shifty::

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! ROOOOOOOAR.
Oink.

My friend and I are fangirls of our professor for our Latin America class and we're always uh, fangirling about him. I mean, he's so nice and nerdy. I was wondering if he was married because I saw a ring on his finger, but you can never tell. I just needed to know. So I investigated and found out that........ he's a Zen priest.

Omg, my face. Our faces. She was like, "He's a fucking priest." She laughed at me too XD We found him in robes and everything. I just like, died from shock and laughter. I read up on it and Zen priests don't HAVE to be celibate so there's hope.
... ::meev:: We're still recovering.

Speaking of monks, that Buddhist monk keeps pestering me. It's the third time this week! I think he even recognizes me now and keeps trying to get close and hand me some round things. Where's the honorable Chairman Mao when you need him.

You mean the way they act like kids? XD

Well, there's more to it than that I think...
Those are the extremes. There's a subdued cute too (like the head tilt).

Venezuela....
^ in Korea its called Aegyo.. and like, there's cute, natural Aegyo and then there's the exaggerated one thats shown on the a lot of the media.
I normally dont mind it that much but the Gangham Style song ft. Hyuna(the girl he dances with in the subway) is sung entirely in Aegyoand I just wanted to rip my ears out cuz it felt so forced and exaggerated(Hyuna doesnt even sing like that usually, I think).
It reminded me of that Community episode where Annie does "sexy baby talk" to seduce Jeff but ends up going all the way around it and it ends up being very disturbing(Community is good at Meta like that)....lol

I think it all comes back to associating women with helpless, naive, innocent creatures and a lot of those qualities are attributed to children. Its all very bizarre when you think about it(also, where do you think the custom of women shaving came from? from pretending they were prepubescent=hairless)

I love it when my legs are smooth though and I love how gorgeous they look (I'm not one to be modest about this), so I love shaving. I love my whole body being smooth!

I went to my university's college republican/democrat debate, and as they were debating my friend called and my phone, at its highest volume, started ringing...... Davy Jones' organ theme from Pirates of the Caribbean. EVERYONE TURNED TO LOOK AT ME.
I felt like I was in a movie, I swear. Of course I fumbled for my phone even though it was sitting in front of me. My friend blamed me, saying I had a "weird" ringtone, like why couldn't I have a normal one, but what does she know? ::gaku::

I want my son to be like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IN4ZS47VAto
Haha, a friend of mine said she'll teach me how to play it!
I should've had the Thundercats theme song as my ringtone though, that would've been amazing.

Speaking of pirate stuff, I was looking for a quote by Virginia Woolf about marriage ("I worship you, but I loathe marriage, I hate its smugness, its safety, its compromise, and the thought of you interfering in my work, hindering me…") to put in my paper, and I found it in "The Voyage Out." Oh man, I read the page it was in and I'm already hooked. I'm surprised I don't have the book, well I do, but in a special edition tome of all her novels and I ain't carrying that around. I looked through my shelves and realized I only had "The Waves," but I think I'll leave that one alone for now. I hear it's hard to read so I need to be totally focused, and I can't at this time. ::batsu::

I like the result of the shaving (well other than the ingrown hairs and irritation, bahhh), but shaving sucks. I hate it. Sometimes I think "why do I have to do this?".

Ugh, Hyuna's voice is so annoying. She talks in a baby voice too.

Beckii Cruel got away with it for a while. Being underage and having a name that reminds people of Evangelion helps. ::cop::

You're using a manual shaver for your legs right? Because I use an electric one and I haven't had any problems in years since switching. I used to get ingrown hairs, razor burns, and little cuts (especially around my ankles) years ago, haha. It's just way more convenient, quicker, and you don't need to use anything for your legs afterwards. It depends on the person though, but I love my electric shaver. There are also some that are able to be used when wet, but I've never used mine when my legs are wet.

I think the only place where I'm more likely to get irritation is my inner thighs, they're more sensitive, but I haven't felt anything in a while. When I used manual women's razors, I never felt that great and of course I'd get cuts and irritation even though I was super careful. I think they sort of defeat the whole purpose of wanting to feel beautiful.

I also have the no!no! right now, I haven't used it as often, but I think it's true that it takes a while for your hair to grow back when using the nono. And my legs come out even better and softer using it. I think I need to get a replacement thermicon tip though because for some reason it's showing that it shouldn't be used. I don't know WHY since I hardly use it. ::hora::

Sooo... yeah, I love shaving XD I love the results too, but shaving itself makes me excited for the outcome, a great body ^^

EDIT: Oh yeah, before moving to electric shavers I used men's razors, even the disposable ones, and they are WAY better than women's razors and cheaper. I would even travel with the disposable ones. I ended up moving to electric because it's just less time and there was no risk for cuts or razor burns of any sort.
