I'm sure there will be plenty of fans at AX. There were 43,000 attendees last year. It's really not a bad idea, imo. Anime cons used to be all about anime, but larger cons are more like Japanese-pop-culture-in-general cons, and have all sorts of stuff and attract a wider audience than just anime nerds.
Plus con shows are cool for fans because you get the panel and autographs and stuff.

Anyway, Mana has a very very small connection to anime now, thanks to Kanon. ::meev:: Woohoo. xD

I am VERY happy their American fans will be able to see them live at last, even if it's at such short notice and many won't be able to attend.

Also I am surprised at a 90 minutes concert, because the FatedRaisond'Être concerts were slightly shorter! This will be a FULL performance, and with the exact same members, it should be fabulous, because they're ALL great!

Performing at an anime convention is not necessarily bad. I was at Japan Expo in Paris last July and the bands who performed there were given very good conditions and were very satisfied to be given this unique opportunity to meet such a large audience (120 000 people attended last year, over 4 days). So given their talent and experience, and Mana's aura, they should be a HUGE success!

And of course I am so happy to hear about one more new song, and a surprising one too! Can't wait to hear it!

Anyways, this means HOPE again for us, and proof that MdM is not dead or dying!

I for one would find it hilarious if the audience turned out to be mostly Vampire Knight fans XD ::batsu::

I'm really excited about that new song ! It sounds like it's really going to be something different and really makes me curious ^_^ He really seems to be in a good mood xD And I think it's great that he's going to America, I guess it's an important step in his career ^^. Thanks for translating ! <3

Thank you for the traduction, Lede :)

I'm really happy that Moi dix Mois is going to perform in United States. I was so sad when their last tour overthere was cancelled. Happy for those who will go to the Anime expo but also, happy for me, though I don't think I shall go to that event.
I am really ecstatic. It's like I'm going to cross the sea myself. I am stupid, I know.
It's at a certain point that I am listening over and over the same song, beating time on my writing-table and holding in my hand my lucky charm, the rest of a doggy balloon that someone, in the street, gave to my children for last christmas ^^. I can't stop thinking that the new song of Mana will surely reach my heart, even better than the one I am listening to (sorry, Julien :P lol) and I already keep shivering.
I told you that I was stupid

For the rest, I think, like MissUMana, that it's not a bad thing that Moi dix Mois is going to perform at an anime convention. Not for the conditions. But, as an anime lover, if I was a musician, I'd certainly like to perform in such an event ^^

Mana, Mana, I wanted to eat eel now that I have read your post. Hmmm, "anguille au vert" or "escavèche". Not surprising that some people think that I am constantly a hungry mouth

This culture-aparthied attidute is pretty juvenile. The size of this thing is huge and will really broaden awareness of mdm in a lackluster market region. Its going to be win for him and that will end up being win for future city-ranging tours. If that means having to stand next to some cosplay fanatic big deal. Heck that's an opportunity to subvert them into DIXANADU from where there is no escape.

It is already 21th but isn't it too early for Mana to wake up and write on Aestetics? It is 6:30 am in Japan, he should sleep this time ;). hehe...

I think the entry must be about today ::squee:: .

6:30 is very early for me ::erm:: . It is a Sunday morning! But it probably was even earlier when he wrote a message because we found it at around 6:30 and we don't know how long we didn't find it. I wonder why Mana wakes up so early... ::erm::

But what do i do here? i must go to sleep ::meev:: .

2009 6 21 Scenery

Even if we exist in separate places,
I wonder if we're looking at the same scene.
Right now, I am enveloped by the sky.
