There will come a day when Mana will be walking the alleys at Japan Expo brandishing a "Free Hugs" sign, ahahahah!

When I was there, I saw a dude with a tshirt that said "free fucks". So classy XD

Joy of the blue roses...
When I know think about it, it is a mysterious feeling and maybe like it was jsut a dream.

With you who came to Secret Meeting,
and enjoyed the blue roses, the time which past by at this special place
is an important moment, which can't be replaced.

The produced thing, that you support my activities,
This hot thought will be my motivation force of my work.

I really received power at Secret Meeting.
As a return present, I think I wanna give you D+SECT and make it the best album.

And the mails I got the last days from you,
even they all had different content, I always read them with joy.
But there was also one sad mail.
For one person it got a sad thought.
Everyone is a part of the grou of people, who love my world.
And D+SECT is an incomplete world which will be for the people who love the
same world something special.
Not all can climb with Moi dix Mois to the climax maybe.

You're welcome^^

Well the last part...
Seems that one person told him that she/he can't follow MdM, because MdM had changed and this is not the way she/he likes...
That is how I understood it...

I personally think that sending him such a mail... well... wrong point in time XD But ok... he said it was just one mail and he got many positive ones, so I guess it's ok^^

Here is the translation made by Sarah of the end of his post :

*
My world shares a common destiny of love for everyone.
If D+SECT can not be in that same world of love for everyone, then it is not a complete world.
Shouldn't Moi dix Mois enliven everyone as one.
*

... and yeah that last part makes me unconfortable for Mana. I think people who just don't understand the evolution of Moi dix Mois/Mana anymore have just to leave without saying bad words to him.
Well, I just don't get why people are doing such things some times.

But, apart that bad point, this is a very sweet message <3

Especially since they haven't even heard the album yet (if this is really what this is about). ::meev::

Yeah, that's pretty dumb. At least give the poor guy a chance first. Maybe they're basing it on the low-quality live versions we've heard of Dead Scape and that other one which I can't remember the name of right now. Which is, of course, a great basis to judge an entire album that hasn't even come out yet on. ::meev::

It's not like those songs were a wild departure from his previous material or anything either.

I can't imagine sending an angry or upsetting message to the artist just because you don't like the songs.

That too. Even if it comes out and is total crap, why would you feel the need to make them feel bad about it? Especially someone that seems as nice as Mana.

edit: oh no. It's happening. I'm becoming irrationally protective of Mana.

Sorry but I can't see from what part of Mana's message you can deduce that fact.
Maybe, I didn't understand really well his message but it's not because he received sad emails or emails that made him sad that they were messages against MdM and Mana's art.
On the contrary, I have rather the impression that he asks to all of us not to be sad, that his world is for everyone united.
It's a marvellous message that warmed my heart. Thank you, Mana :) <3
Maybe I am wrong. I'll read his message more carefully this evening ^^ Now, I am a little busy. Sorry.

Anyway, thank you for your translation, monologue-de-chi :)

And... OMG, what an incredibly marvellous photo ! He is so beautiful <3 Like we say in Brussels, I have a "bountje" for him ::meev::

Well here's MY guess at the end of his message, as long as we're all guessing.

Together as one, let us rise onward with Moi dix Mois.

Another case of the you-belong-to-me syndrome? I can't believe anybody would want to hurt Mana's feelings anyway, because he's exceptionally attentive to his fans. ::hora::

Thanks a lot for your various efforts at translating. He looks better than ever.

Thanks to the lovely ladies for their reports :D <3333

And thanks for the translation too~~ he looks lovely~!

Confused by the translation tho as everyone else.. XD he could be talking about any message, the event that just passed? His work? (which would be dumb, since MdM hasn't done anything in 3 years...)

I was mostly joking, and of course never meant to offend you in any way. I was always curious at the song "Angelica", you see. He said it was the plant, but I never really believed him, eheheheh!

Oh, you didn't offend me in any way. Nor did anyone else here, don't worry! And thank you for your understanding.

I think I know the interview you were looking for. Isn't it the one he gave for Orkus on May 2007? He explains there Angelica is indeed a flower, but that he also relates it to his fans (my signature quote is taken from that interview).

I like that fact that Mana probably thought about the flower when writing the song. It's not my favorite, but my mother adores the plant and she made me admire it as well. It's a small and delicate white flower with an amazing scent (though a bit too strong for my taste...). And with a mystical enough background to inspire him a little, I think!:)

Oh yeah. I remembered that interview. I don't know why I skipped the fact that he explained that angelica is a flower. Maybe because it was obvious for me ^^

Hum. I don't think we know the same kind of angelica. It's true that its flowers are small and white tending to yellow but in fact, they grow in cupels. So, they look like they are great. I'd say 5 to 10 cm. The plant in itself is great. Some species can be 3 meters high. It's not a delicate plant. It's a robust one with not much diseases. The aspect of the plant is a little unpleasant. It looks like some kind of emlock, the poison. To such an extent that my mum, when I was a kid, forbidded us to approach them. The only way to make sure it is well angelica is to crease a leaf. Like you said, the angelica has a marvellous scent though the emlock has an unpleasant one. What, for myself, I find attractive in angelicas is that they are angels hidden behind unpleasant look. Maybe like all angels are, in fact ... ^^
They have a lot of virtues, medicinal and others. They give life (they were known to heal the pest), heal a lot of diseases, are good in taste while emlocks kill treacherously (they contain a violent poison hidden).

Here is a pic of angelicas. You can see that it's not a beautiful plant ^^

It's true. But, according to what I know about that plant, all species are great plants and really robusts. Maybe, I am wrong ^^
I reacted to the post of Mrs. Fujiwara because I was astonished that she described them as small and delicate.
They are not all wild. You can cultivate them, to use them as condiment, for instance. Or to make candied angelica. It's an easy plant to cultivate, robust, few care to bring.
I like wildflowers too but angelicas recall me the severe voice of my mum telling me "don't touch. It could be poison !" and my dad creasing a leaf to make sure ^^
