Thank you so much for the last translations, monologue-de-chi
I am really happy for those who will be able to go to these events
Yes, I know that there are a lot of species of angelicas. But all those I know are great. In fact I thought that you confused with the aethusa cynapium. I don't know how it is called in english. Here, we call it "little emlock" or "emlock of the gardens"or "parsley of the dogs XD". It has really the same characteristics that you described for the angelicas and a lot of people confuse them with angelicas. They are small (15 to 40 cm I'd say), they have a very strong perfume, they are quite pretty and their little white-cream flowers are in bouquets too. But, at the opposite of the angelicas, they are toxic. Not violent poisonous like the great emlock but it's better to take care though. It contains the same poison.
Real angelicas not. You can even eat some parts of them ^^
But, I spoke about Europe. We are living in two different parts of the world ^^ So, probably that in your country, there are angelicas like you described ^^
After all, though my mum passed me on a bit of the great love of my grand-father for botany, I am far from knowing all, especially concerning species from other continents than mine ^^ We are here to learn everyday, I think Thanks for having shared your experience and knowledge with us ^^

You don't need to apologize. It was not so long ^^ And nothing obliged you to answer to me. So, I appreciate greatly your kindness ^^Mrs. Fujiwara wrote:Sorry it took me so long to answer things back, Tiny! Really busy atm.
But, as someone already said, there seems to be different types of Angelicas. The ones my mother would put in flower arrangements at home for special occasions were small, white-to-creme ones. Yes, they come in what we call bouquets, but the flower per se is quite small. And the perfume is so strong my mother would only scatter a few in an arrangement so that it wouldn't become annoying. And it might be only me, but flowers are all beautiful in my eyes, so I think even the Angelica kind you posted is pretty!
