In one point there is a romaji world, DIXANADU.
Some people says to me that it is the title of new Moi dix Mois work. Is it a trick, isn't it?
Please, tell me it is a terrible nightmare.

Well...anycase...what is "DIXANADU"?

I can tell you right now that isn't some rename of the project. :P It's probably just mana being weird again like he was with the whole 'DIX LOVE' nonsense. XD

What does it mean? Can someone explain it, please.

The information is on the very last page of the most recent Madousho. I'm sorry.. I'm not lying. The band also made an announcement about it at the Dis Infernal concert.

The word Xanadu pretty much means "an idyllic, or beautiful place". It also can be anything that is pleasant to the senses or mind.

Well, back a while ago, a poet named Samuel Taylor Coleridge wrote a poem "Kubla Khan", in which the Khan was said to have built a "pleasure-dome" at Xanadu, while under the influence of heavy 19th-century drugs.

Obviously Mana is on drugs too.

EDIT: here's the poem:

Aww. I don't think that his recent releases have been that bad. Still, I can see how a lot of people are getting sick with his lack of something as awesome as what he's put out before.

Well.. the new song sounded promising, if that makes any difference.

It does. I mean, even if the album has a crappy name, as long as the music is worth listening to, I don't care. It's just.......DIXANADU????? :( :( :(

Mana, you can think of better than that. ::bleh::

I know! When I first heard the title, I was like.. "whaaat?!". However, Mana seemed to be pretty proud of the name when it was announced during the concert. Perhaps when we start to hear more about the songs that will be on the album, and what their lyrics are, then we might be able to better understand his logic behind the new cd's given title. :)

It's really not all that surprising, to me anyway. On Dix infernal there was the song "Tentation" so I figured he was bound to do the play-on-words thing again sometime. I never really thought he'd make an album name in this way though.

Nevertheless, if the album is good then I couldn't care less about the title. (though I would prefer it as just Xanadu :P )

'Tentation' is an actual word in the french language, though- no play-on-words about it. :P

XD S'okay- I had to look it up myself. I originally thought it was a typo, but 'tentation' just means 'temptation'. ::meev::
