I think you're blowing this Deg-hate thing way out of proportion.
Why is it so hard to understand that some people used to be fans of Deg, or like their older stuff more, but dislike their new stuff? That's fine that you don't come to threads bashing bands you already know you don't like anymore, but some people like to voice their opinion because it used to be a band that they adored, and they hope that there will be some kind of change that they will find pleasing.
It's not like the whole forum is against Deg. They're doing pretty damn well, and they have many many fans that follow them, so why do you keep getting bent out of shape over people who don't anymore? I mean you can have your opinion but it's just as annoying when you write paragraph after paragraph over the same things. Even to that I tend to think, "Okay, we get it."...so they both go hand-in-hand...
I'm this way with Moi dix Mois, as Elec said. I really like Dialogue Symphonie and Dix infernal, but everything after that I find iffy...but I keep looking forward to the next release hoping something has changed so that I like them like I used to. I can understand it gets irritating to fans of Moi dix Mois when people bash every new release that comes out now, and I have to deal with it with some of my favorite bands too, but I usually just ignore it...
I guess overall my point is, you can have your opinion and it's fine, but so can others. People going on and on about how Deg suck now because they aren't VK or whatever gets old, but so does bashing every single person that does, with the same arguments...
EDIT: I do agree with you though. If people do know they don't like Dir en grey anymore they shouldn't feel the need to continue bashing them with every release, and sometimes without reason. It's just some people will continue to do it because they were VK at one time, and unfortunately some people are going to cling to that, and to their old sound.
