I think he's saving that for the new Malice Mizer album

I'm asking Santa for a Malice Mizer reunion this Christmas. Make it happen big guy.

The reunion & new album won't be until 2012, when Moi dix Mois's ten years is up.

I expect Mana to spend 2011 touring with MdM, and Közi to get that XA-VAT stuff over and done with, and release some solo material as well.

It will probably be announced at the next Deep Sanctuary though

Yeah I didn't want to read those before i could make my own opinion of the album XD

And i finally received it yesterday but could only listen to it now ^^!

I won't do a review song by song because i just did it in french for my blog and don't have the time to translate XD!

The songs [...] have this awesome epic/soundtrack feel to them. Good background/painting music. I think the sound has matured a bit.

This is why i love this album, really for each song I can see a short film being played!

My favorite song is Pendulum right now it has all the element i love in Moi dix Mois.

I don't know anymore which album of Moi dix Mois is my favorite XD but cleary this is one will be at least my second favorite ~

I think MdM will go on a hiatus in 2012, much like Malice did in 2002.

So maybe there'll be a new album eventually, but I'd say it's going to be a while.

So maybe there'll be a new album eventually, but I'd say it's going to be a while.

Sure, but Malice Mizer has nothing to do with Moi dix Mois except for the fact it has Mana, and Mana is already releasing solo music, which the final years of Malice Mizer were really all about. Look at the gothness of it all. That is pure Mana, not Malice Mizer. If I remember correctly a lot of the compositions with Malice Mizer were credited solely to Mana (not Malice Mizer) and the lyrics by the vocalist at the time. And Bara no Seidou was 90% Mana, including the lyrics. So I think the natural progression would be somewhere along the lines of what Moi dix Mois are currently doing anyway, considering how heavy Beast of Blood, Gensou Rakuen and such were.

MdM can't go on hiatus though. MdM is just the name Mana releases his music / performs under. He's been the only constant member since the beginning, and to be perfectly honest, he could do it all without the other current members, because Mana does everything without their input. Beyond the Gate is proof of that. He didn't even have a drummer or bassist, and he put out the CD. He also considered his work with Kanon Wakeshima as the cute, unseen side of Moi dix Mois! Because Mana is Moi dix Mois. They won't go on hiatus unless Mana has projects with another band, which probably would only be Malice Mizer, but I'm quite sure he's said on occasion it's not going to happen. Mana has said he will continue to make music forever, so there is no reason that he wouldn't release it as Moi dix Mois.

Yeah and, in Baptisma (which has a malice mizer sample dunno if i've mentioned that hehe) Mana says "so a new dawn comes..." He is clearly referring to Malice Mizer's reunion!
