I dont see why some people were saying the It Withers and Withers concerts were any worse than what they usually do.

I saw one other concert and it was The Code of Vulgar[ISM]. It was alright. The only thing I dont like about the footage is that they show the same songs too many times. BUT.

It withers and withers was just as good musically (instruments and vocals). I like some of the Vulgar songs better than most of the Withering to Death ones so I kinda like Vulgarism better. Though my opinion of Withering to Death has changed. I only dislike Jesus Christ RnR for the most part. I just think its horrid.

In the concert though, Garbage was done terribly and Kyo did sing some songs not that great. I dont see why though because on songs such as KODOU and Merciless Cult (especially this song), he sings them very close to the cd. I think its all of his thrashing around that just puts him out of breathe and some songs (such as Saku) just are not good songs to perform live.

And the above statement is in part to the song and the vocals. Saku, which sounds very jumbled in my opinion, just isnt that good of a song anyways, and the vocals are weird with different people singing at different times which makes it difficult to coordinate more. This happens with a bunch of other songs too such as Obscure (which I love this song, but not as much live just do to the nature of it. Its done better in the studio).

What I was saying about Kyo is true too. He can sing very close to the cd when he tries. But I dont get why he just doesnt sing sometimes like in, like Marmalade Chainsaw for example. This also fits into the Obscure/Saku thing where there are too many people singing in the song so it makes it harder to sing like the studio version.

If they give a show like they showed on the dvd where they were in Europe, then the american shows should be worth going to see. They looked received decently. There were people enjoying it, and some people were just kinda like eh. But to me thats not too bad. At least a good bit of people were liking it, plus they didnt get boo-ed, people cheered for them after a good portion of the songs. Though you could see some people laughing at them because of Kyo mainly. I think its stupid with some of his stage antics where he scratches the inside of his mouth. It just looks fake and retarded and he needs to stop. Thrashing around to heavy music is fine, but he makes it look stupid at times.

And one last question. What does Zetsubou mean?

They said they wanted the glow-sticks to look like a "sea of blood". I don't want to participate in that nonsense.

How do you go from spitting fake blood to cutting yourself and really bleeding to using glow-sticks to represent blood? ::teef::

I believe the main reason they chose Glowsticks was BECAuse they cannot bring Cell phones or Lighters into the LA venue..

A bit off topic, but I figured I'd notify you guys.

Tainted Reality will be having a celebration for Dir en grey finally making it to US soil this week! We will be holding a half hour super block of DEG consisting of songs voted by you fans! Not only that, but you can submit stories of the show tomorrow night in NYC to be read on air! If you wanna know more, check out the Tainted Reality thread linked below!

They ended up letting in a small amount of fans for $15 each.

It was alot more than that.

100$ ish

I dunno what your friend got in for, but I've read three separate reports that say they got in for $15. Definitely didn't hear about anyone paying $100 just for Dir's show.

I mean I am SURE there should be songs from "Withering to Death", ya know.....the tour being called "It Withers and Withers" and all....but I heard they played Rasetsu Koku and a bunch of other random era songs.
Either way....no matter WHAT they play I am SO stoked for tommorow!

They've only been playing stuff from after Six Ugly. Nothing before, except Rasetsu Koku. I doubt we'll get it though.

Ok just clearing things up before I have to sign off for the day:

Going to Avalon and meeting up with Priss, navate, missy, and whoever else will be there at that time around 5:15-5:30 o_o

I'll be the girl, most likely with my hair up in a ponytail, wearing a black coat and a blue/black striped scarf! I might have a small messenger back on too.

Die looks nice, but then I think he naturally looks nice, so that's all good.
Kyo...just the same as always really. Depends weather he wants to look nice or throw blood around and be all zetsubou.
Shinya, just the same.
Toshiya looks...bad. o.O Maybe it's the lighting. Or the poses he was striking.
Kaoru...wow. His hair's getting long now! Or it looks longer cause it's hanging over his face. It's all fringy. I think he looks the best. Nice work.
