Also I'm not too concerned about keeping "noobs" in general out; the only problem we're trying to solve is people who sign up JUST for the downloads. So a high bar isn't necessary.

Honestly, that's how I got here in the first place but I think that's a great idea

50 posts for the download section huh, it looks like I
have a long way to go! I can see the value in that and
no spamming to get to 50, I get that too. The thing that's
a drag for a person like me is I actually use the search
engine and am not one to babble. I can usually find a
previous thread of the subject I need info on so I don't
need to post. At the same time I always see threads
with time wasting posts like a subject of "for example"
a new MDM dvd and there are 50 posts of people saying
I can't afford it but I really want it "boo hoo". I think
that's kind of spammy because it's all quite obvious that
everyone wants the merch or we would not be in the forum
and that's how we get those 20 page threads to sift
through to get the valuable and informable posts. The
bottom line though is since I discovered and started
collecting MM/MDM merchandise, this site/forum has given
me the most info. and when I could use the download site
it also gave me very cool/rare media so I guess I should
thank all those who shared the files and the ones who
post the valuable info. Ok, I guess I better go and find
some threads to contribute to and get my numbers up.

You are aware that multiple accounts are against the rules?

Toro-chan's account should already have access. Use that one. There is no need for a new account if you already have 200+ posts in the other.

How about this. PM me from the Toro-chan account saying something like "I am Ishnariel". Then I'll change that account's name to Ishnariel and delete the account you're using now. That way you keep your post count and get the new name.
