Black brown usually, but in the summer light brown.

Is it possible to have two different eye colours depending on the season? The colour doesn't change in a year. The environment does, it is probably the light that makes your eyes look a bit different.

Anyway, blue eyes.

^^Yun, my dictionary says the word for 'hazel' is 'noisette'.
thanks!
but it's strange.. i mean for me 'noisette' would be light brown not green - brown... well that's not really important XD;
Yeah, in portuguese "hazel" is "avelã", which is a brown nut =P I never got why the eye color is called that either... Generally here we just say "brownish-green" or "greenish-brown" ::bleh::

Yeah, that's what I mean. I just said summer 'cause that's really the only time it's sunny here.

For eyecolors, one end of the spectrum is blue and the other is brown. Everything else is a mixture of those two, and often there are solid fleck of colors in the eyes that can make the color appear to change depending on the lighting. :) Very few people's eyes are truly one color.

I have green eyes, and they are AWESOME thank you. No Photoshop enhancement required.

^I met a girl last semester with one blue eye and one brown eye. (REALLY blue.) It was surreal. I know a few other people with different colored eyes, but it's usually subtle stuff like hazel and brown.

This article is interesting. I really didn't think I had any form of that until I read the section about "central heterochromia". My eye looks a lot like the first example of it.

^ That article is very interesting. When I was a child, I had a white cat with one green eye and one blue eye. Both of her eyes were quite beautiful and very intense.

My family has an Australian Shepherd with eyes that look just like this:

My cousin has eyes like that, too! When she was born, it was extremely noticeable. Now that she's a little older, her eyes have 'adjusted' themselves a bit.

If colored contacts didn't make me look so ::zetsubou:: I would TOTALLY have hazel eyes or two-tone eyes.

I could just buy contacts they look fine on me, but I want my REAL eyes 2 different colors, it'd be sooo cool. Contacts are a bitch. I like to be able to itch my eyes. If I could choose my eye colors it'd be

LEFT RIGHT

I cannot stand contacts. I wore them for many many years until I realized glasses > contacts!

Also, those two colors are *AMAZING!*

I had no idea that it was considered rare. Over half my immediate family has iris patterns like that, myself included.
