*ahem* Anyway...I've noticed there are more of us than I first thought, at least...though compared to the 16-20 year olds, we're kinda scarce.

Yeah... I've stalked this forum since August of last year, I guess, and I didn't think there was anyone my age here. I think that's why I hesitated to join for so long. But, I'm glad to see there's a nice, mature group of us here. There are so many people I've known that were my age, or even slightly older, whose intelligence was... questionable, to say the least. Like you mentioned before, I think, about how most of your friends are older than you, same here... and for that reason. I'm just glad there aren't a bunch of fifteen year old "0mg gakt is liek th0 hawt!11four" fangirls that spam and ruin the rep for the ones that are a little younger.

Ugh. I agree with you wholeheartedly on that. I'm always a little afraid to say that I'm only 14 because I'm sure people will automatically assume that I'm one of the fangirl types. Seemed that way once, but hey.
About maturity, I think it's generally that way - most people around 14 that one would meet in school and the like are brainless and headache-inducing. And thanks for the compliment. ^_~

That's another worry of mine...but I guess 14 isn't as intimidating to some people as 11, which is a good thing. Lucky for you - I doubt at 11 I could have passed for 11. I was really...strange in elementary school, and I only really started to realize just how horrible I'd been when I started posting on J-rock forums. It was disgusting. My best friend and I even used the 'u' and 'me 2' and 'b' things in sixth grade (I don't have a problem with lol or gtg or stuff like that though, or omg really, but omg is only for messengers, and for special emphasis)...the fact that that wasn't all that long ago is rather embarrassing. Sixth grade was also the 'OoH, iM goin 2 b st00pid so the uthr st00pid kidz wiLl liek m33!!!!1111three' year. Heh. *crawls away to hide...*

I'm almost 17... And yeah I also hang out with older ppl, basically because MOST of the ppl my age are complete retards (except SailoKa, heh).
I think age doesnt matter though, it really depends on the person you're hanging out with. I know 25-year-olds that are as mature and as intelligent as a pineapple can be, on the other hand I've met ppl my age that are very mature, sometimes is amazes me how they ACTUALLY use their brain, heh. Anyway, yeah, like I said I'm almost 17...
