Notice of Juka pausing musical activities

Thank you very much for always supporting Juka.
On this occasion, we have something to announce to everyone from Juka.

After the release of the best album on 2008/02/06, Juka will take a pause from musical activities.
We apologize for making such a sudden announcement.

The reason that Juka is pausing musical activities is that he has to leave the music industry for personal reasons.

Furthermore, all the activities that were planned for Juka's new band "Seventh Sense" are suspended.
To everyone involved and all the fans, we apologize sincerely for causing you deep trouble.

The performances of "Seventh Sense" which were scheduled for the end of the year (12/23 Omotesando Fab, 12/31 Holiday Shinjuku) will be changed to Juka's last performances as a solo singer.
And their appearances which were scheduled for next year are all canceled.
On the omnibus album on which "Seventh Sense" was going to participate, Juka will participate with the previously-published song "Suimenka."

Juka will name his final best album "Seventh Sense," and entrust the future. (to whom or what he's entrusting it, I don't know)
Thank you very much for supporting Juka until now.

I'm deeply sorry for the sudden announcement.

My return to the music industry was only a short period of about a year, but in that time I met important colleagues and had irreplaceable experiences. This was thanks to the support of all the fans and the people around me. I think for the rest of my life, you will all touch my heart. I am truly grateful. Thank you. For my remaining two performances, I will be onstage alone, but I will give it all my power so as to have no regrets. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

He has 10 songs, not including the acoustic versions of "Aravesque" and "Jewel." It's not a lot but it's enough for an album.

this is still kinda sad. I'm curious as to what happened in his personal life. It seems really "last" but I hope he comes back to the stage in the future. He was finally getting really good at live singing. (or so it seemed from videos I saw)

By the way, SAS is offering refunds for the concerts and omnibus that Seventh Sense was supposed to appear at. There are details about that on the OHP:

There have been a lot of rumors about Juka's personal life but I don't want to repeat them, and even if they're true I'm not sure they have any relation to this. These rumors have been around for at least half a year so I can't see why he would suddenly withdraw from the music industry now if that was the cause.

So I'm pretty shocked.
I was just starting to warm up to Juka...
Anyway, if it's because of some personal thing, I hope it's nothing too horrible or life-threatening.
Although, if he pops back up in a month all like "Just Kidding!!! Publicity stunt!" I'll kill him...
