Juka to leave Moi dix Mois!

but just as a note, it has been brought to my attention that Moi Dix Mois, and not Juka, might have signed with Midi Nette. In that case, he would be free to start a solo career whenever he got his act together. So nothing's set in stone.
Since when was anything set in stone? Since you told us what someone told you a couple of pages ago on this thread? o_o; Please don't be making statements like that in this forum. They are very misleading and most probably incorrect. The least you can do is not pass them off as facts.

I was responding to a comment someone made after I mentioned that usually after a musician signs a contract they have to wait 6 months before signing to another company. And someone said "damn" or something like that. I was simply reassuring them that they shouldn't do that so soon...

...

... ... ...

You remind me of my mother, somehow...

Dude, please, just kindly stop. We have asked you many times to post in a more responsible manner. I realise this is not work, it's a forum which, among other things, is a place to relax and have fun, but that's far from saying people can act any way they want in it and say anything they want in it.

If you would like us to treat you like a child who doesn't understand what making responsible statements means then I suppose we could do that. But the truth of the matter is, that you are not a child, so kindly respond as an adult. I'm sure you can tell the difference between talking shit with you friends and making statements in a forum 3 PAGES LATER. Please, don't try to put down our intelligence.

You have tried to mislead this forum many times with your own personal interpretation of facts and your own fantasies of how things should be with an air of authority (I have personally caught you mistranslating things in a way that much altered the meaning, but I guess that could have been an honest mistake...) and we have repeatedly told you to just stop trying to pass things as fact that you don’t really know about. And most of the time you just play it off to the most innocent of reasons and act all amused and unfazed or tell us that we just misunderstood you for the 50th time.

There's nothing we despise more, and I know I speak for both myself and LejuN as well as the good majority of scape's posters, than rumours - and especially rumours coming from people pretending to be something they're not - aka experts, or official representatives, or any other kind of self appointment know it alls. And the thing is that you might really be just a child who doesn't understand, or you might really just have the most sincere of motives that you express wrong, but that's all you're coming off as and it is not tolerable. I’m sick and tired of having to tell you to stop doing THE SAME THING all the fucking time already and you pretending it never happened.

I wouldn't call 1 live per 2 months 'lots'. Compared to actual tours of past...

I would imagine all the fans outside of Tokyo would be coming down for these lives as they have not been out of Tokyo (cept for EU of course) in a year and a half.

A live every other month is "lots" if you have to travel each time.

My main point was not about people traveling down, though. I was just saying how 1 live every 2 months is nothing compared to a tour....

I just added the point about people from out of town because in a tour, except for the hardcore of course, all those people who were dying to see a live wouldn't have to travel, they can just see them at home. No tours outside of tokyo probably opens up a small percentage that will be attending the live from another place who normally wouldn't be there. Slightly filling the house more than usual.

This doesn't just apply to Japan. It goes for any kind of music tours or lives anywhere.

I would like to see something that Evanescence did a while back with their CD/DVD release "Anywhere but Home". Mana should still release the expected DVD that will be coming out BUT also included a audio CD of one of the concerts in its FULL glory. That way people can hear Juka one last time and hear the duel guitar playing of Mana and K. I think that would be neat.

YES. I love live CDs. I adore them. While I love live DVDs, I just love love love live CDs. <3 If Mana decided to release one for the Invite to Immorality tour... that would be just awesome.

Oh... I don't know if this helps / adds to the discussion at all, but from my knowledge of the Japanese music industry (which honestly isn't all that great), the usual thing for an artist to do is to release a few singles with videos prior to an album, come out with an album, make a few more videos and possibly singles, tour for three-four months, have a "good bye" concert, then go back to the recording studio to make a new album.

...not to say that's what Moi dix Mois does, though... but that's the basic pattern for most major lable artists. They really don't get much rest...

This thread is 20 pages, I'm not going to read it all :P So I'm probably just saying the same thing that has been said already.

I guess I can sort of relate to the Malice Mizer fans that had to go through Gackt leaving. While I'm not completely devastated as they (or seemed) to be, still I'm sad that Juka is leaving. Listening to him from Dialogue Symphony to Pageant, he really grew on me. Well I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what Moi Dix Mois has to offer.

On a personal note I hope K doesn’t take over vocals. While I don’t actually really see K taking over, still it just wouldn’t be Moi Dix Mois. Well I’m still up for anything new so if K does take over, who knows he might actually be good.

I wonder how long though... And if they'll release a musical only album. :) That'd be FUN! :D After all, Mana and the rest have great instrumental parts... :3

I think Hora would release a instrumental only CD first than m10m...
What I mean is, After your (very much loved by fans) vocalist's departure an Instrumental CD wouldn't be the wisest thing to release to promote your new shiny vocalist... specially if said vocalist haves yet to win many athousand fans' hearts...

In all honesty i'm not too cut up about it, I only discovered Mana for the first time in february, so i didn't have time to get attached to Juka, even if I had; all my attention gets lavished on Mana, since he's the brains in the outfit and he looks good :D

I'll be interested to see what Juka does now. He may have a sexy voice but if he can't get the same quality of lyrics and instumentals that Mana manages to devise, he's gonna get really old really fast...

Though I do admit it's a real shame that Juka is leaving, I have to look on the positive side - The positive side being a chance for a new vocalist to emerge and show his or hers talent.

Mana was able to boost the names of all the former singers of Malice Mizer, now look at them. They're able to bring us their own unique sounds. Just think of what Juka will do now that he's free to write and compose his own private thoughts and melodies.

Bottom line is we all know Mana works miracles when it comes to discovering hidden talent. Though I'm sad to see Juka depart with the band, it gives us and him new opportunities to see what else is out there.

That's my two cents, anyway. :)

Whoever the new vocalist will be, could either make or break the band. its such an important choice, but we all know Mana will do his best to find someone to suit his own unique style.
lets hope we wont have to wait too long :O

I am curious as what Juka is going to do... Did he say at all? I hope he doesn't give up music for good, because his voice is awesome. I also hope he doesn't decide to go "gackt" on us, though. :P

Agreed... I hope he doesn't go Gackt on us. >_<
But knowing how Mana has been handling vocalist/band issues I am sure he will probably find another great vocalist.

What puzzles me is hearing another voice singing songs that Juka made his own (vocally).

Ah well~. I hope we hear more from MdM soon...

I fear we´ll read from him first than hearing...there´s an update that Mana will appear in May´s Fool´s Mate. Maybe he will talk about something "new" then (hopes).

I was very dissapointed when first hearing the departure of Juka, I believed his vocal work was something solid, simply needed in the past Moi Dix Mois work...But I am sure Mana will find someone that will be acceptable towards the type of music he writes....

"Acceptable" does not sound very positive, huh? I hope the new vocalist will be more than "acceptable". But Mana did well with finding new vocalists for MM, and he seems to be a master in....making a good and beloved vocalist run away...the era-style of MM was interesting and all 3 were really good, though I hope this is not going to happen with M10M that much....

Well, an instrumental CD would help out for some kind of money hook up when they DON'T have a vocalist (that's where I was going...). After all, I wanna see the talents of those two. . . I'm cracked. ~__~;
