Everyone's entitled to their opinion in sound. :\ Just accept their opinion & move on, if it really isn't directed at you.

Yeah, at least Klaha did his part in M+M, unlike some people I know who just danced around and didn't even play their instrument. :D

He's talking about Mana in the live clips from "Gardenia" on the Cardinal DVD... he just danced around and wasn't even carrying his guitar... o_O

Not one of Mana's prouder moments.

I suppose he decided to have a minor role in that song... since he doesn't even have his guitar at all, during the PV... Kozi seemed to have managed the guitar, well enough.

What I hate is when people critisize M+M for the fact that there are songs where instruments weren't played. True, it means less to do on stage, but it stops them from limiting their work to twin guitars, bass, drums and vocals. If Mana added another guitar to Gardenia he would have ruined it IMO. Not even Kozi played much guitar in that song

Yeah... Mana probably also did alot of other work with sound filters, ect. Can't really blame him for that.

It adds to their flexability. Shiroi hada ni kuruu ai to kanashimi no RONDO was a great song that made use of all the instruments but what made Bara no Seidou a great album WASN'T the guitars, was it? I mean, there are only a couple of songs on the album that truly make use of their guitars but you say Bara no Seidou was a great album, then you critisize Mana for dancing around on stage because he doesn't play an instrument for some songs.. Strange

I'm actually gonna side with those critics. All my favorite MM songs are the ones in which the traditional band set-up is utilized. I love all their work, and some of my favorite songs are indeed largely programmed, but there's something about songs like "Shiroi" and "Bel Air" that are just golden; the technical proficiency and the intricacy of the instrumentals.

That was actually my only problem with Bara no Seidou ^^; I wanted more guitar work, I would have been very dissapointed if Shiroi Hada ni Kuruu Ai to Kanashimi no RONDO wasn't on there, because it was the only song with harmonizing guitars played like piano parts (not to confuse it's guitars with those of Hakai no Hate)

True, songs like Shiroi, Bel Air and Tsuioku no Kakera were golden, but imagine Malice Mizer without most of Kozi's work; no ILLU, no Ju te veux, none of the more unusual work. One of the reasons I love Malice Mizer as much as I do is because their music is unusual. If they stuck to the normal band setup I can assure I wouldn't like them anywhere near as much as I do now

The great diversity in each of their songs, and even when they kept the same CONCEPT in their music, it's just too good to be real. I love Malice Mizer for that.

Wait, Klaha. Yeah// >>
