that's the reason she SAYS, but more than likely she just doesn't want to wear the same as anyone else. ::kisaki::I really appreciate what she's doing with young designers and how she believes in using her wealth to help give young people a chance to shape the culture.

Why would you think that?Garnet in the Eden wrote:that's the reason she SAYS, but more than likely she just doesn't want to wear the same as anyone else. ::kisaki::I really appreciate what she's doing with young designers and how she believes in using her wealth to help give young people a chance to shape the culture.
because it's the type of person she is now, she was more open with her comments about things like that in the past, when she was less famous.Berserk wrote:Why would you think that?Garnet in the Eden wrote:that's the reason she SAYS, but more than likely she just doesn't want to wear the same as anyone else. ::kisaki::I really appreciate what she's doing with young designers and how she believes in using her wealth to help give young people a chance to shape the culture.
Gaga wore a lot Alexander's older "out of fashion" lines (from 1998 or something like that) so i think it's sort of the same thing because those are not yet IN fashion. It's not like older designers don't make unique things (Alexander McQueen is an obvious example)
Berserk wrote:Of course she wants to be one-of-a-kind, but I think she also wants to spread some of her success to people who deserve it. It's why she's been having Semiprecious Weapons open for her and things like that. The way the economy and the music industry are today, it's harder for new designers and artists to make it; so she's using her success to give them a leg up. I think she truly believes in that.

Even though what she's saying is totally reasonable, just listening to her voice makes me want to uppercut something.Garnet in the Eden wrote:this interview makes me laugh so much :

That's neat. The same people had done a video for Bad Romance, too. Maybe a few haven't seen it so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWxTGJ3TK1UCamuflagem wrote:I like this telephone parody
