actually i think that ju te veux gackt doesn't look like squall either.
i guess he just had sometimes a similar hairstyle maybe but the rest is so not squallish. Mizerable is more Vampire style, which makes a look more like same castlevania dude than any ff character. Also Gackt never had a outfit with leather jacket and hipsters as far as i can remember. PERIOD!

The ending of FF VIII and the the PV of Miserable are very similar. Gackt is acting like Squall in that PV.
There was also a certain outfit that looked awfully similar to Squall's outfit. He also had outfits that looked similar to Cloud, Vaan and probably some other characters.

It could be because Gackt is a Final Fantasy fan(IF he is a Final Fantasy fan), but it could also be a business agreement, since both Gackt and Square-Enix are promoting each other when Gackt 'cosplays' Final Fantasy characters.
