okay technically there is no real sub forum that would suit this but seeing this is still Malice related I thought I best post it here.

and Yu~ki...he looks a little bit different, I wouldn't have recognized him if it weren't for his nose...n.n

I've got some new scans too!
First off, an interview from "QUARTER MAZE" vol. 3, from 1993 sometime after "BRAIN TRASH" but before Kami joined - in other words probably in late February or early March 1993. This has got to be the first Malice Mizer interview ever, or close to it.

Interesting points:
- Malice Mizer distributed a free 1-track demo called "I KNOW THE REASON FOR HER SADNESS" in Osaka?! Never heard of this and it's not on their official site. If it's true, it must be absurdly rare. Or maybe they're just referring to the SADNESS demo which was also distributed in Osaka, though after this article was written.
- The truth behind how Mana invented the name "Malice Mizer". He wanted to pick a name that evoked the European atmosphere, so he was looking through Europe pictures when suddenly the name just came to him. I never believed his later nonsense about it being French, and now I'm vindicated.
- Kozi's blood type is C, he's 57 meters tall, weighs 550 tons, and hates DUMBASSES ::meev::

I think I might have lived under a rock for the past few years... I have never seen Yu~ki like that! It astonishes me to no end how he looks so... I don't know, clean and family-friendly (I don't know how else to describe him ::shifty:: ) compared to Kozi, who looks like... well, a rock star. ::meev:: They look like polar opposites!

And it seems that Malice Mizer whored Sadness out a lot... no wonder it's not on Memoire. ::erm::

Though I am partial to the Deep Sanctuary II photos. Where did those come from, Pierrot~Hime? Like, a staff member's blog, whoever that guy is...?
Közi IS the most gorgeous man ever. And Yu~ki...well, he has nice taste in hats. I wonder if that was from his Charlie Chaplin cosplay. Hahaha.

Maybe I can try my hand at translating the interview/make-up tips! It will give me something to do this winter. ;)

For any other magazine hunters out there, "QUARTER MAZE" volumes 1 and 2 don't have anything MM-related.

I don't really consider a HOUSE/CAR to be a "present"... unless you have really rich grandparents or something o_O;
