There's a lot of Yuki's if you don't just count the ones from j-rock bands.
I wanted to buy an album with Yuki from Judy and Mary on CDJapan and when I searched for her name all I got was "Please narrow your search by selecting the "Search within results" option above, and entering a new key word:"

Kyo: 3
(Dir en Grey
BUG
D'erlanger)

There's a band called Kyo... but I don't think that counts :P

There's a Yu-Ki in Karimero
Yeah a lot of the other Yu-Ki's have been listed by now :P

There was a Satsuki in Mist of Rouge and I think the singer's name in Rentrer en Sou is Satsuki? Someone can correct me on those if I'm wrong

I just remember there's a Hisui in Ghost and Hisui from Schwardix Marvally.

Also a Zero in Ghost and a Zero in DespairsRay, except I think Zero in Ghost goes by Rei....or whatever the On/Kun reading is for the kanji :X

Hands down the answer is not a first name but a surname:

"Yozakura"

The band Planet Gold has had over 80 people participants. All these people are given the surname "Yozakura"

Yozakura Hoshimaru
Yozakura Dorothy
Yozakura Luvvy
Yozakura Lilly
Yozakura Hauther

I can't name everyone of course but right there, that's 5 people which beats the above lists :D

Most common has to be Yuki, in my opinion. I have one question though. Is Yuki a name for both males and females? :?

I would have to say Yuuki, Yuki, and Kaede are, by far, the most common names I've come across. There are a lot of 'Yuu's I've seen, but too lazy to name the bands.
And Takumi is somewhat common too (ex-Panic channel, Rentrer en Soi, and some unknown indie bands)

I think Kaede is more common than Yuuki or Yuki or other names because just at the top of my head, I can name 3 bands with members named Kaede: EllDorado (Vocalist, but he later changed it to Yuuki), Gossip (ex-guitarist. He went into Vidoll and changed his name to "Shun), and Garasu.

I thought Yuki was a male and female name... it means snow... and one of our exchange students from Osaka's name was Yuki.... but her parents could just be hippies... XD

Knowing nothing about Hyde or L'arc except the names, I always assumed Hyde was pronounced hee-day like all the other Hide's out there, just with fancy nonsensical spelling. Like Közi being pronounced like "kouji" ::bleh:: So is Hyde said as an Egnlish "hide and go seek" type of hide then?
In really old L'Arc videos [I'm in Pain; Claustrophobia] Hyde presents himself as "Hide" but [and I'm not sure if this is accurate info or just assumption from some webpage] he changed it so people wouldn't confuse him with X Japan's hide.
Thus, Hyde was born. XD
hide from X-Japan: [in katakana] HI-DE
Hyde from L'Arc~en~Ciel: [in katakana] HA-I-DO.

So yeah, it's like "hide" in "hide & seek".

Also, all the members from the angura-kei band "Here's the Hamsters" changed their name to "paul".

WTF, 80 PEOPLE?! O_o
And I thought Morning Musume was an exaggeration.
I don't think all the members could fit in a concert all at once. XD or...can they? O_O

PS: Are they the funky people you took a picture with? With the colored feathers & horns &..stuff? :O

Not 80 people at once!!

They've been together for over 8 years, and basically the way the band works is they change members very often and have a ton of support members. Some members were only there to help produce one song but everyone who contributes is given the name "Yozakura". The most I've ever seen was 8 people on stage at once.

That's STILL 8 Yozakuras!!

Edit to reply to Sailorka:
