yay, maybe I'll see you there... if I can ever get some of my lazy friends in gear and get a trip organized...

:) I'm going to AOD and cosplaying Aya in a group cosu with a few of my friends. We're doing the Yume Kazaguruma dealie. Well, that is, if I finish all the costumes >>.

Aha. No, of course I'm not obsessed. Surely not!

Hope to see you guys there :).

I had the chance to see MDM in Paris but I needed new parts for my drum kit so bleurgh.

I am campaigning with a group of other individuals to get J-Rock/minority foreign bands to do tours/appearances in Europe and Canada. The group has already worked on a few other bands and we got results, perhaps we only had a small influence but in most cases we got positive feedback from band management and in two cases personal responses from band members.

My friend is personally running a project to get PLC to Europe/Canada so we are arranging to send representations of all fans who could not manage the three US appearances to be displayed and handed in to the management of PLC. If anyone is interested in being noted as an absent fan you are welcome to send an e-mail to hearts4plc@hotmail.co.uk with your name and country of origin. The whole point of this thing is to show the band that there are more fans outside the US than they know about in the hope of influencing the band/management to consider touring Europe/Canada.

It's a good thing that M10M didn't play then ;)

Petitions are good and all, but, as many people will tell you, it's not what will make a band tour. All they want to know is a) do you have a live house ready for them? b) do you know how to promote their live properly? and c) will you pay for their plane tickets and/or hotel rooms?

If the answer to the above 3 is yes then the majority of indies bands will gladly come. For major bands like PLC same rules apply, except they might want money too :P

USA gets PleC, L'Arc...
Europe gets m10m, EoD...
Yeah, maybe I should start a "OMG bring ANY j-rock band to Brazil pleeeze~" petition...
The best thing we got here was Eizo Sakamoto, but he only sang anime stuff... I wish he came back with Anthem... :'(

quite right. EigoMANGA had been doing their L'Arc petition so that attention will be brought to the fact that hey, there's a heck of a lot of people here in California that would love L'Arc to show up. So, far, it's made it's point. Attention has been brought, and as a result, negotiations are in progress. Still, we can't be certain anything will ever happen.

Nope, check Mana's aesthetics, he'll put them there as soon as they're confirmed.
