I totally <3 this band and I can't imagine why. Their music pretty loud and thrashy and I usually don't like that type, but I simply LOVE this band. Daina's "singing" is pretty strange but it's soo addictive. I've listened to "mr freaks show" over twenty times today :O

Also, apparently Daina left and they have a new vocalist named Makoto! If the sample on their site is any indication he seems to be bit more melodic than Daina was, but I miss Daina's weird-ass "vocals".

They have also, if my japanese isnt wrong(It probably is) released a new mini-album! Too bad I'm poor!

But anyway, let's discuss Puppet Mammy!

Yes! Puppet Mammy is a very good band =) I have both singles, the mini-album with the poster, and a MD (and I have a friend who is going to give me a MD player so I can listen to it o_O) The MD came with a kodak picture as well. There is also going to a release this October, you can be sure I will get that as well ^_^

I did not know about them replacing the vocalist though o_O That's too bad... As far as I know, their discography is as follows:

1st Single - Kumo no Moshiro (Technically this is a demo CD and was not to be sold, it's listed as MCD-0 in their discography, though I have it and a flier for it as well)
1st MD - Puppet Mammy Live [Namba Rockets] (I don't remember the date)
2nd Single - The Mr. Freaks Show
1st Mini-Album - Shinjo Shikisai Shu
3rd Single (to be released in October) - Child's Terror

Fuaa! How is the mini album? *jealous*

To be honest, I just assumed there was a change. Daina could have just changed his name. I don't know :\

Shinjo Shikisai Shu is easily my favorite CD by them, it only contains 4 tracks, but each on is progressivly better then the one before, the 4th track being the best. It's bassline is very similar to some of the basslines on Luna Sea's album "Eden". I highly reccomend picking up a copy if you can find it =) *I got mine at 3rd Stage*

Yeah, there's a new vocalist. Daina is gone, replaced by Makoto (formerly known as Kilua/Kirua). Apparently he left in February of this year.

I saw Puppet Mammy a few weeks ago. I really liked them! The new vocal was a bit... well, probably not used to playing live. He fell to his knees during on song, and didn't get back up again, despite the fact that no-one in the live house except the front row could see him! Their bassist is really smilely and cute, and their drummer is just like a doll! He's really charasmatic, too. I definitly wouldn't mind seeing them again.

It's like a tiny CD that is in a plasic case, but you can't take it out of the case, you pop the whole plastic thing in the player. From what I hear you can fit about 4 albums onto one 0_0 Puppet Mammy released 1 MD but I previously had nothing to play it on, but a friend says when he goes back to Japan, he'll get his and give it to me =)
