That's a tour pamphlet =) Those things are kind of like photobooks, except floppy covered and remarkably shorter (I have the Bara no Seidou live one and it's less then 20 pages long) It's more like a posterbook then anything else, especially the Schwarz Stein one =)

If you want a lot of rare photos buy the Retour photobook. It's mostly live photos, but there's a bajillion of them all through the years (Tetsu and Gackt era) and I'd never seen 80% of the photos when I bought it. (As opposed to other photobooks that have every page scanned and spread around online.) Some really bootiful photos...three of my favorite Mana shots are in that book. <3

...Tetsu era? Are there a significant number of photos during Tetsu's time as vocalist or are there too few for me to consider making this probably very expensive purchase? :)

Ten pages of 57 live photos+what little photoshoot material there was from that area, and then two pages of a black and white montage of their fliers and such. At the back of the book there is a "historie" section that has about 12 more VERY tiny Tetsu area pictures...

Overall it's a Gackt-era based book, so I'm not sure if it's worth it if you want it purely for the Tetsu era, nor would I call the Tetsu section "huge" in comparison with the Gackt section since the book has got to be somewhere around 150, 200 pages, maybe more (but I'm bad at estimation, so don't hold me to that number! XD) Point is, it's a big book with tons and tons of pictures, and only a small fraction of that is Tetsu.

I say "huge" because it's the largest collection of Tetsu photographs that I've ever seen in one place ^^; I guess in comparrison to the rest of the book it's really not that big, but it's larger then most other places =)

I know, I just don't want to mislead him, since I think he'd only buy it if it were mostly Tetsu. ;]

Actually, this reminds me, I was thinking about this not long ago and it just never came up ^^; What's the -scape- policy on scans? Since the whole point of the photobook are the pictures, do the same rules apply? (no uploading things in print) and if things aren't in print, can we upload various pictures? Just curious =)

We've discussed it a few times but still haven't come up with an exact policy. The rough consensus seems to be a few scanned pages is okay to give people an idea of what is in the book, but scanning the entire or majority of a photobook is a no-no. Scans of things that are a part of a larger product (like CD photobooklets) and magazine scans are ok. As for in-print books vs. out of print books...not sure. Though I'm tempted to say it'd be the same--just a few pages--since most out of print books are readily available for purchase if you know where to look. Don't hold me to that, though. ;]
