I shall be the first to totally pimp Vidoll. If you're liking teh Ayabie and Phantasmagoria I'm sure you'll dig them. Their new stuff is great if you want to start from there.

Let me also second Kagrra, deadman and Fatima. Kagrra blew my socks off with "san", deadman is dark and intriguing, and I've found Fatima, although disbanded, to have some real gems out there, especially "Shizumu Taion" which is like the best J-rock song evar.

KOME KOME CLUB

LOOK!!! K2C was totally rockin' back in their day, but they simply do not belong on a list of jrock bands.
That'd be like me recommending .... SMAP. >_> <_< >_> *covers icon*


Anyway. I have two recommendations.
Sex Machineguns and B'z. My two favoritest bands. SMG is very very good, so don't listen to anyone who would tell you different. It is a lie from the pits of hell.

A lot of times if I really like a band, I end up wanting to check out the member's previous bands. So I go here.

Then I usually end up finding a rare or obscure band. So if you want rare and obscure music, you could always try looking through there.

It's not hard to navigate, just know some basic Japanese like Katakana or Hiragana.
