So we've been over all the favorites. But now...list any and all Malice Mizer (and if you want, generally scape-related) songs that you dislike so much you nearly always skip it, have deleted the mp3, or otherwise make an effort not to listen to it because it annoys you. And try to say why you don't like it.

No saying "Any Tetsu song! Ew!" (or any other "era" of vocalist or band as a whole)
No saying "But I like it all!! "
And no flipping out on other people for hating a song you love. I know we're not all adults here, but let's pretend for a little bit. ;]

===========
Malice Mizer:

Hokai Jokyoku-- this song just annoys me for some reason... the part where the chant "man-made memories, ordained destiny" is kinda cool, but other than that... *shrugs* It's kinda a flop.

S-Conscious-- what were they thinking? o_0 It's so...awful. The music ia bad, the lyrics are bad, and the engrish just makes it worse. Ew. Just ew.

Kioku to Sora-- I don't always skip it, but I tend to. Klaha's live redition is just so much more appealing to me... and I always end up comparing the two, so I tend to avoid the original.

Yami no kanata e-- all pointless gothy soundeffect tracks are a waste of CD space.

De merveilles-- see above. -__-

Temptaion of Widow-- and again. Though at least this one sorta has some music on it.... does nothing for me though.

---

And the only non-MM song I can think of off the top of my head:

Schwarz Stein: Syphyllis and Disorder-- this is just too screechy for me. It hurts my brain.

I used to dislike a few of the prissy Voyage songs (Itsuwari no Musette, premier amour) but I've grown to like them now, and I don't skip any song ^^;

Gackt' MOON: I always skip 'death wish' and 'doomsday'. The songs are just bland and flat.

Gackt: Junigatsu no love song. Sounds way too "Christmasy".

Kozi: Crimson Star.

Klaha: I've already made it pretty clear I don't care for Nostal Lab, but when I listen to it straight, I skip "Penguin", "kiseki no koe", and "shokoreito". Other than that, I skip "Stay in the rain."

Malice Mizer: I BALEETED "apres midi e-style". Just poorly done overall. "S-conscious." "Itsuwari no musette" (yeah, again I've said I don't care for Voyage but this is the only one I ever actually have to skip) "Mori no naka no tenshi". Can't stand it.

That's about it, really. Even when I don't like a song/album, I'll sit through it if I have to or for nostalgia's sake. These I actually have to skip. I don't think that's a mark of a bad song; even bad songs I can sit through and ridicule...these are usually just plain boring is all.

a song has to be pretty bad/annoying/boring for me to skip it. usually i'm an album person and listen all the way through. there are some unfortunately for mm though... ;)

malice mizer:

houkai jokyoku - industrial snoozefest. this song annoys me. even more annoying live when everyone stands up and does boring para-para.

mori no naka no tenshi - err...wtf? >_o the first time i heard this i couldn't believe it. it sounded like extremely bad, cheesy, much too happy video game music. i really can't stand it.

itsuwari no musette - i've been known to like a large majority of voyage but blehhh. too boring and carnival-y for me. it just drags.

i actually like s-conscious though, i mean you've gotta love gackt's engrish! it works much better live to get the energy up, but not the best on the album. you sort of realize it's just 3 minutes of shouting and banging.

gackt:

alls i can think of is "another world". you'd have to pay me a substantial sum to listen to that song again. and i can't listen to the last couple of minutes of "kono daremo inai heya de" because i want to take the singing kids out back and shoot them in the face. multiple times.

klaha... don't get me started on klaha. :P

MM:
Hokai Jokyoku, S-concious, N.P.S.N.G.S.(sp >_>), Baptism of Blood.

Gackt:
Dybbuk, Solitary, White Eyes, Ares, freesia 1&2, emu, Dears, Lapis, Leeca, Story, ANOTHER WORLD HAEIHFASDI^(%#, Doomsday, deathwish, wa-su-re-na-i-ka-ra, Kimi ga oikaketa yume, Noah, Maria, Seven, uncontrol.

There's a lot of Gackt songs that I can't stand

MDM:
Shadows Temple, MAD INGRAIN, Invite to Immortality.

I don't really listen to Schwarz Stein(besides their first single), so I can't complain about them. I skipped the whole New Vogue Child album since I kept falling asleep when trying to listen to it.

Eege, the merveilles version.

Agreed. I don't mind the Kioku to Sora rearrangement, though; Klaha kept the general aesthetic and mood of Tetsu's original lyrics when rewriting them.

In midnight ruins...
Itsuwari no musette
Brise
Colour me blood red
Kagami no butou genwaku no yoru
Chikasuimyaku no meiro
Baptism of blood

I don't listen to Memoire very often and the only songs that I *really* like on it are Kioku to Sora, Eege and Baroque.

I don't really listen to post-Malice Mizer Gackt.

Apres Midi E-style is so bad it's good. ;D It's quite an embarassment on Malice Mizer's part, but I don't skip it because it is so corny it makes me smile.

I used to really hate Itsuwari no musette (and most of Voyage) but it grew on me. I like the chorus. The part where the kid starts speaking French really grates my nerves though.

Gackt: U.K. I've only heard a handful of Gackt's songs, and most of them are not my taste, and others I really like (mostly the slower, ballad-like stuff) but I REALLY hated this song.

Malice Mizer - Eege, the merveilles version.
Everytime it comes on i'm tempeted to break into the Tetsu version and then when I hear it's not that version I just skip it.

Malice Mizer - Baptist of Blood
This one just never appealed to me for some reason

I always tend to skip intro/outro/short filler songs as well. (exception to the Schwarz stein songs and the intro to Pageant.)

A glass box under a sakura tree...
Mmm...not exactly a song but...
I always skip those parts of SoS in which you see these transparent images of them in white dresses, with blood around their mouth being chained in some dungeon...so boring...

Gackt:

ANOTHER WORLD - I have to skip this song! Everytime I listen to it, i get horrible flashbacks of Josie and the Pussycats . . . (This song sounds about 90% the same as the song from that movie, the song is called 3 small words or something . . . )

M10M:

Pagent - I tried so hard, but it doesn't matter how many times I listen to this, I just can't like it :(

Dix Infernal - a part from Solitude, Pessimiste, and Dialogue Symphonie, I tend to skip the other songs every now and then. They aren't bad, I just feel like they are missing something (it has nothing to do with the drumming).

Kozi:

catharsis - same with dix infernal, a part from grottesca and dans erebos, i tend to skip the other tracks every so often. Again, it feels like something is missing. I'm looking forward to his second album, I think I might like that one :)

Alright, I know this is going to sound extremely cheesy, and you've said not to say it, but... I dunno, there aren't many songs I skip over. True, there are ones I don't like as much, but depending on the mood I'm in, I listen to everything from Malice Mizer.

I love everything by Schwarz Stein, and also listen to Moi dix Mois' instrumental song-ish things.

Közi, I actually do tend to skip over Honey Vanity. But I'm giving it more of a try. I'm listening to Eve of Destiny more, too.

Pretty much everything by Gackt, except for his Crescent album, Vanilla and Oasis. All his other work I just haven't listened to yet.

Klaha.... I'm trying to get into his solo work more, to be honest. But I skip over 'kamereon no seppun' all the time, because that song just... scares me. >_>

I'm also trying to get my hands on Pride of Mind, because of what I've heard of them, I like them very much.

Gackt - not much really.... "mirror", sometimes "sayonara", "Papa lapped a pap lopped ", "Soleil" (OMG I HATE SOLEIL), "Another World" and "Kimi ga oikaketa yume"...

Malice Mizer - Only song I tend to end up skipping out of releases would probably be "ILLUMINATI" , but not always. If it was not for the great video and live performance, it does nothing for me. I also haaaatttteeeee Yu~kis bass solo in merveilles L'espace. That is very hard to watch and so damn cheesy and it just doesn't sound niec to me in the slightest. But that would probably honestly be it.

Schwarz Stein, psshhh, yeah right. Me no skippy these. If I had to pick one of my more or less least favorite though, it might be Perfect Garden :O

Klaha solo... I don't know. There are lots I skip depending on my mood. I think of Nostal Lab as more or a reminicent time of my life and when things were very nice, so I always like to listen to it every now and then. It was the samples of this album that prompted me to create -scape- and I also happened to meet the love of my life in the process ;)

Kozi solo, I rarely ever skip anything even though I am not fully impressed with the first album. It is nice to pass the time, and I love a few songs, but nothing I really *hate*.

Moi dix mois, love every bit of. At first, solitude was the only thing that wasn't doing it for me, but eventually I learned to really adore it.

And I know it is lame to post "I can't believe you don't like *insert song here* !!!", but I am gonna say, I am somewhat surprised at some of your choices. Corroded Cage? o_O, Houkai Jokyoku? o_O;;; both freesia's??? o____OOOO;;;;OMG~

I agree. XD I loved the dancing they did for Houkai Jokyoku, it was very amusing to watch, especially in Societé de Parente. And I see nothing wrong with Corroded Cage. o_o

And ILLUMINATI was the first song I liked by Malice Mizer, actually~ Though the video frightened me and made me twitch at first, I giggle when I watch it now.
