it is a pretty awesome sounding song. I wonder how he is doing those effects with the wings and stuff live though

^ i think that they added those effects when editing the footage from the live show
i don't think that you can do that on a live performance ::shifty:: can you?

I thought it might have had something to do with the screen in the back, but it isnt.

Maybe it is just added in effects. It's cool either way, but it kinda makes me think, hey, that didnt actually happen at the show.

it would have been cool to see :)

i don't think he could have used a screen because you need to sit in a certain angle for this effect to work, don't you think?
so some of the audience would have seen what he wanted, while the rest wouldn't.

i was thinking about lights or something that could create a 3D image of those wings... now i think that that could have been seen by everybody... he just needed to sit in the right spot to create this effect ... but i'm just speculating on this one

we will see on the live DVD i hope :)
i wish he'd do documentary of "The making of XYZ tour" ... a behind the scenes thing ... but more complex... a complete one
i think that it would be really interesting to see the technical side of what it means to have a live concert

edit:
done, i've asked someone who attended lives in his tour
they were on the screen behind Gackt ... so they used a screen to create that effect
that must have been amazing to see

I wonder how he did that though. I cant wait to see it. Cause it looks like the lights are going all the way around him.

they probs had an X on the stage where he had to stand so that the wings would line up with him. the rest should be easy peasy.

Haha, he has a new performance up on youtube, from music station I believe. Its very fun lol. Definitely not singing it live which kinda sucks, but still.

I wonder if there will be PV's for these songs?

I totally fell for Koakuma Heaven. The song is really catchy I think.
Lost Angel sounds nice too, Faraway isn't so much my thing, but it's oaky.

i've also seen that performance, the hip shaking is insane ;)
i've also seen Music Fair today ... Lost Angels and Another World
i can't wait to hear the other new songs he has
i don't think that Koakuma Heaven was live, but with the distorted voice... it's understandable
the Music Fair performance was definitely live... his voice played tricks on him during Another World... right before screaming Darling it seemed to have broke
i liked it anyway :D

trying to be cool like Közi
I have totally fallen for Koakuma Heaven too I have to say. Especially that part with the....chanting? I don't know what else to call it XD

And Faraway is neat too, i can't get it out of my head XD

((I still like Ghost more though, gaaaah I love that song))

Anyway, has anybody here listened to Gackt's song 'Justified'? It was a new song included on his nine*nine DVD collection:

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=CRCP-50066

Listening to Justified, I really think it has to be one of Gackt's best recent songs. i wonder why it isn't as popular as some of his other ones....probably because the nine*nine thing was insanely expensive bu still :P It's an underrated song when I don't think it should be!

....okay my randomness is finished ^^;

yeah, Justified is a little older. It's a decent song. Reminds me of a top tier song that could have been on Diabolos.

about Koakuma Heaven, at first i didn't like the song, i'm not that fond of songs with distorted voice, he has such a beautiful voice, i like listening to it when you can hear it clearly, without any distortion, and i thought (and i still think) that the lyrics are kinda disgusting (he said it himself in one of the interview translation i've read so don't yell at me for saying this), i know he did it on purpose ... anyway in time it grew on me :D and now i love it...still can't dig the lyrics, i still find them disgusting, but it's a catchy song

about the album
i'm hoping that he will release these songs in an album too, they are expensive as they are now... all four separate :(
but as far as i've read around, in the translations that people did for his interviews it seems that this is it... the album came out in 4 singles... >.> ... in this case i'll have no other choice than buying them :)

i've also read that the songs are way better in the live performance (actually some seemed pretty pissed off and kept saying how he screwed them on the recorded version)... this only makes me more eager to get that live DVD.... whenever that will be ready ::shifty::

I'm not really digging either Koakuma Heaven or Faraway. Hrmm. I don't mind Koakuma Heaven but it's nothing special to me.

But who am I to talk? I'm sitting here listening to SNSD/Girls Generation (kpop) on repeat. ::meev::

I actually like both of those singles alot. Not just because I like Gackt alot, but honestly, only one song if his I really havent liked too much and thats Dybbuk. But either way, I like them just because I like the styles of music he does and the songs just really are good IMO regardless who would do it. (well, you know what I mean).

The Lost Angels single is no different. No Reason is pretty good, not as good as Lost Angels or Suddenly though. Suddenly sounds really rebirthish. Awesome song.

Koakuma heaven is mainly fun due to the live performance with the para para esque dance :P it's the best part of the concert. ::gaku::
