I'm playing FINAL FANTASY VII (1997)
Update: Still going, just hit disc 2. It is really strange to me that I can remember so many tiny details from this game but I feel like I'm seeing the story for the first time. Finally fired up Grandia on the Sega Saturn. I played the English PlayStation port a lifetime ago but I never did get around to clearing it.
Man, the Sega Saturn was such a cool piece of hardware.
Update: Still going, almost finished the second disc I think. Never been this far in the game. What a lovely game.I'm playing FINAL FANTASY VII (1997)
You know I've only ever played one of the games in that series and I can never remember which number it was, only that it was the one with the rotund merchant.Dragon Quest V
I'm also curious as to what the future of the series will be like, given the announcement that XII will be darker and more action focussed.
I played Dragon Quest IX on DS and even after 239832 years of refinement that series is still incredibly, tediously grindy. I realize that's intentional and part of the series' gimmick at this point, but I just got plain old tired of it.
Sounds like Death Stranding.it gets to the point of feeling like a part time job haha.

I tabled this until I can rebuild the computer because I no longer have any patience for fans as loud as leaf blowers. I think the "original parts" thing has had its day so it's on to a new ATX PSU (adapted), new fan, and maybe a new HD too.I'll spin it up (starting with the PROLOGUE DISK) tonight.
I don't ordinarily endorse GameFAX, but if you're going to play "Circle of the Moon" you'll have much more fun if you actually know where the DSS cards are. They're all hidden behind 1/100000 drops and/or in unguessable locations, so it's unlikely that you'll ever get a full set playing honestly.I also need to get around to the Castlevania GBA collection
