I voted Tetsu. It's not that I don't appreciate him, I just don't like his voice and I don't know too much about Yu~ki or Kozi to vote them, though I don't like them too much either...

I really like everyone in Malice Mizer...without them all MM would never have become what it became, right?

I personally worship Gakkie...I don't mind him being a poster boy and I don't mind the plastic surgery...in the end, I think it's simply the music that counts, don't you all agree? Gackt is an excellent composer, headstrong and determined!!! Whoo...guess I'd better stop before I get in trouble.

On the other members, I thought Khala was a quite sufficent member of MM. I really really liked Bara no Seidou since the operatic type of music stikes my fancy...Khala was a cool member.

Mana...Mana rules. He's been a real inspiration to my fashion designing and...yeah, I just love Mana!!!! Enough said.

I hope I don't get yelled at for saying such positive things about Gackt...but they're true!!!

*hides behind her computer*

How can you *not* like Yu~ki or Kozi. You will be smited for that comment one day

I voted Tetsu, cause for some reason he seems to me to be the sort of...non-existent member. Maybe that's just because of his fanbase, and how everyone is constantly ranting about Kozi or Mana :P I'm sure he has many fans, though.

Yep :P See? He does have fans, just not many fanboys/girls (at least not to my knowledge). I suppose that's better in a way :P

Tetsu does have fans; though only a handful here on the forums. Some are more obvious than others, of course ^_~ though I'm fairly certain that I was the original OMFGOBSESSED e_e

You do know there are people who have been following Tetsu since he left MM right? The owner of the biggest Malice Mizer mailing list some years back was a huge Tetsu fan as well... There's a lot of pronounced and unpronounced Tetsu love out there. Unless you meant just on this forum... of the people who post... and actually make a point of talking about Tetsu.

Am I the only one who prefered the Tetsu era over the Klaha era?

....doubt I can stay I hate any Malice Mizer member...Though, the member I undervalue most is probably Gackt......I wasn't ecstatic about Gackt's departure from the band probably making matters worse after Kami's demise. I'm fond of his work in Malice Mizer, but I disliked his being after departing...

LOL, people's concepts of "dark and classy" can be funny sometimes (for example me, I consider gacktfries to be dark and classy)

I think they are sexy ^-^ I will marry a gacktfry someday and we will live on a farm with gophers! They are dark and classy because they are creatures of the shadows, and flocky too (like Mana  )

Hmm... in all honesty, I do not know who to vote for.

Gackt: Yeah, it comes around to the botox again. He sold out majorly, and his hair will probably fall out in the next couple years from all of the abuse it has suffered. And his crotch, too, while we're at it. But he *is* a successful singer now, with his own career.
...andIownMars...

Klaha: I was heartbroken when he said he hadn't liked the "dark" music M+M had done, because it seemed as though the operatic style that BnS is known for was his type. But I am guilty of being obsessively compulsive over Chameleon no Seppun.
...And his hair in Bara no Konrei is horrible. It irks me. Dunno why. And he can't ride a horse for crap XDD.

Tetsu: This guy is awesome. Seriously. His voice is an acquired taste, I'll admit, but he packs major vocal heat. I can't complain about him at all.

Mana: *sigh* He's getting kind of egotistical... and slightly annoying. But who can deny him? Go get a SHOXX or a Fool's Mate, see an article on him, and your legs turn to jelly. So there.

Kozi: Not all of his songs are the greatest, but Gekka no Yasuokyoku in my opinion is one of the best M+M songs ever. I really can't think of what to bag on him with, 'cept for the creepy contacts and the necrophilia in Bara no Konrei >_>.

Yu~ki: Aaw... Yu~ki's such a sweetie... he may be slightly useless, but Syunikiss was a gem. And he plays a 5-string. Which isn't easy to accomplish. Although that in itself wasn't enough to give me a diversion from the fact that his Bel Aire costume was plain HIDEOUS.

Kami: *sigh* I'm one of those people who can't talk about the dead in good conscience... it's just wrong to me. But I can say that his logic was AMAZING *sarcasm*. "Men shouldn't wear makeup, but whee, I'm the drummer of one of the signature Visual-Kei bands!"

...I'm voting Gackt... >_>.

He did? Am I mistranslating something in all of the interviews by him I've worked on? <.< >.>

It's something that's just circulated on various fansites without substantiation. I don't think he's ever said anything like that. It's been going around since before you ever started translating Klaha interviews...

psst- this is where you're supposed to plug your website ;)

Okay, fine, since you insist:

But now I'm being guilted by the fact that I've been sitting on a practically finished translation for 2 days now, and need to post it. Maybe after I go out and do this ridiculous list of chores. I've been wasting my whole morning catching up here.

I've never read anything from Klaha like that either.

I think this quote sums up his feelings on his MM days:

"And certainly because Malice Mizer was what it was, I had pride in what I was doing. I'm not denying the past or anything, rather what I've been doing for such a long time up until now was what I liked, so I will probably mention Malice Mizer even in the future. Whether I'm in a band or solo, to the very end, Klaha is Klaha. I have no desire because I'm solo to do anything different from my time with a band. That's just a matter of 'Will I wear makeup or not? What sort of costume should I wear?' To me, that's not the core of it." (http://www.antique-birdcage.net/klaha/interview/foolsmate_200301.htm - Gwendel)

He had been close friends with Yu~ki since his PoM days. He knew exactly what he was getting into ^^

Yu~ki's such a sweetie... he may be slightly useless
