Velvet Eden Information?

I am sorry if there is already a thread on this, and if there is, can you please give me think link. ^^ But anyway, back to the question....

Is Velvet Eden still together? Does anyone know Dada's real name? Anyone know Kalm's real name? Any information on them would be great. If they are still together, then who are the members now? It's just really hard to find stuff on Velvet Eden. *sighs* So, please help me. o^^o

Velvet Eden disbanded in a sense.. (rumour? -> when the members were Reika, Mimi, Bera, someone...and Dada, Dada didn't agree with where the band was going and didn't show up at lives and eventually left) The 4 other members renamed the band The Velvet and they don't sound like Velvet Eden at all...they're more pop-rockish I think. As to their real names I do not know.

Dada used to go by the name "Yusuke Gotoh", but I have no idea if that's really his name or not.

Velvet Eden PVs

- The whole 'Street of Alice' concept was carefully scripted and sculptured. It's about a boy who entered a castle and 'fell in love' with a witch. That's a quick review without giving out the hints.

- Velvet Eden went through more band members than tissues after Kalm left.

- Dada claims to be an alien from another planet (Dadaland), imbodied on earth to tell tales and live as a human does. So that's that extra cast member on Third Rock from the Sun.....

While I'm asking questions, is this Dada? I heard he had something to with the clothing company Arachnophobia, and when I came across this picture in my G&LB it looked a lot like him.

Arachnophobia is Dada's fashion label, yes.

Example: Dada is to Arachnophobia as Mana is to Moi-meme-Moitie.

I love his clothing! Arachnophobia stuff always seems to catch my eye as I flip through my Gothic & Lolita Bibles... It's really a shame that Dada's not still making music... VELVET EDEN is one of my faves.... :cry:

Arachnophobia hasn't really come out with anything new for a while it seems. I'm also 99% sure that's not his real name.

Um...things people don't know? Well, I think a lot of Dada's costumes and concepts were taken from cartoons and garage kits. Like his Delux Shocker image card looks a heck of a lot like this old garage kit of...I dunno. Some lady with a giant claw on her hand.
Anyway, there are rumors he orignally wanted to be a garage kit producer. He's really good at them. In fact, he must have had some professional art training somewhere because they are amazing (his drawings too).
He also has this thing for dreams. Like, he can control them he said. Dreams are very important in the whole VE concept.

Kalm...did some event with Lucifer and I haven't heard anything since.

But now Dada is nowhere and the Velvet does suck ;_;

Anything else you were wondering? I might know something about it.

they're on Kurai's site, along with all the other ones that aren't on mine...

except for "saigo no bansan" and "fushigi no kuni no alice"; those'll be up as soon as I have some time. And the lyrics to "Rouge de Noir" are up on Rock It! lyrics page...I think that's all VE ever released though.

By the way, I went to ID Japan today and asked about the dwindling Arachnophobia display. The girl there said Dada was just a model for the brand, and that he didn't design anything. I don't believe her.
However, this does suggest this is probably the end of the brand if no one even remembers him ;_;

On a funny note, she also said Hyde came and bought one of the polka dotty corsette things. I chose to believe that :grin:
