you found me

I caught Yuki's drum stick. The show was pretty good, way better than the VA show by far. Even the band thought so, but I think Hizaki learned that throwing himself to the crowd in a small venue was a bad idea XD It was such a pretty dress too ::bleh::

Did his dress get wrecked?! I was right there when he dived (My position was directly in front of him next to his speaker to the middle.)
I didn't see his dress get ruined, he did seem a bit dazed though. ::meev::

You don't count as a -scaper- because I count you as a good [ concert ] friend of mine. :3 But okay I saw ONE scaper there, and it was Oasis and his awesome possum self.~ Thanks for doinking my head with the stick by the way. XD

I was around the middle area. In front of me there was a group of obnoxious young teenage girls. Behind me was this scary smelly dude going 'HIZAKKKKI!' I was wearing a, hmmm, black dress with white lace embellishments and bows all the way down the middle. And open-toe platform heels. And, my friend, she was probably one of the few Puerto Rican people in line, and she had a silk navy blue dress on with boots. Does that help any? XD

How about y'all? I wanna know if I happened to see any scape people :D

Well I had a striped jacket on and off, mostly i was in jeans and longsleeve black shirt with a black t on top XD nothing special. Later I changed into the striped jacket with a white shirt on top. I was with the people up front, my friend with blonde hair and white jacket.. er older woman who really rocks she's cool. UM..not sure I'm sorry. XD I had my hair up in a pony tail too, I looked kind of lame. :P I don't have any pics sadly but I guess I'll post one once I can get some from friends.

I was there, approximately 20th in line. Small female, long curled brown hair, Versailles Philharmonic Quintet hoodie with flowered shirt underneath, jeans, boots. During the concert I was on the left side, 2nd row behind the really tall guy. (>_<) It was the first time I'd seen a visual kei band at an American livehouse, so if I did anything stupid I apologize. I moved to Japan before VK bands started visiting the US and although (because?) I've been to many Japanese concerts, there were a lot of things about this NYC show that I wasn't expecting.

That made it hard for me to enjoy the concert, but I do have to say that of the 8 overseas Versailles shows I've seen (I also went to Europe and AnimeUSA), I think they gave the best performance at this one. This one sounded solid musically AND they had a good energy level with lots of audience interaction.

Oh man I really wish I could have met you too. :(
I'm really curious as to what was different from what you were expecting, if you don't mind elaborating. By the way for some insight from someone who's been to a few NY lives since I live here... honestly the Knitting Factory is not my favorite venue. As you may have noticed they cram everyone into this room before letting them into the actual live room which messes up the line a lot [a problem if you're very into the first in line is whatever thing] Plus just.. I had some personal problems. Overall I really liked this performance too, it was really amazing. I'm surprised they did so well in the small space they had. I really miss the lives I saw at the Avalon though [it has a special place in my heart since i saw my first lives there with Dir en grey and D'espairsray a few years back. Plus it has more room.]

It's sadOasis, to you ;)

For their next performances I hope they pick better venues. For the NY show management should look into the Blender rather than Knitting Factory ::bleh::

Awkward moments are the best ones~!

So they're releasing a live DVD of footage from 2007 to 2008 early next year, and pre-orders will be taken at their oneman in December. There's talk of an Urakizoku 2... @______@

And there's gonna be a new single with the songs Prince and Princess. How appropriate? I thought Hizaki was joking when he said "Princess" at the Q&A a few days ago.

I'm jealous of everyone who went. D: I really wanted to go. I knew it would have been impossible, though. Damn workload.

Glad everyone had a blast, though!

So now some of you know how awesome inertia is; sweet.

oh and i hear versailles played some shows or something

Talked to 'Zak-ster just after they came back; he had a really good time. I guess there were big issues at the DC gig but I didn't think it appropriate to press for details.
Also the consensus is that Yuki has the best English ability, but that's not saying much apparently. :-P
