whats the difference between KAKU P-MODEL and P-MODEL?

As near as I can tell this is the story: P-MODEL was Susumu Hirasawa's group from 1979-99, which went through about 11 member lineups, went on hiatus a bunch of times, etc. Then in 2004 this new project KAKU P-MODEL appeared, which seems to be a successor project. As of now the only member is Hirasawa. It seems to be thematically linked to the whole concept of "Ashu-on" somehow. Hirasawa specifically points out that the two groups are different though, in the Vistoron liner notes.

Anyway I hope that helps ^^

EDIT: oh yeah, and for official info you might want to read http://www.s-hirasawa.com
It even has an English version :D

Flowers: Thanks for forcing your friend to do this. Yeah; it was a 4-song set, but that's more of a start than some people claim they're going to make. I did enjoy that pride of mind song, and will probably now go about acquiring that album.

At Fresno State's radio station they have a program from 7-9pm that's all Japanese music. Mostly pop, but still, I thought it was a fantastic thing. Not sure if they still do it.

Actually, it was his idea... I got him into a subset of visual music when we were in school together. ^_^ I did suggest some of the selections though. He's more into the electronic/new-wave stuff like Hisui and Pride of mind though, as opposed to harpsichord/pipe organ Malice Mizer stuff. Nevertheless he's considering adding in one or two visual songs a night if he gets his own permanent show.

... good luck...
