BA. English Lit was my major, philosophy my minor. Plus four years as a Hindu monk, during which time I vanquished the daemon Life once and for all. :P

I'm 16, and I'm in my first year at a University. :)

Hopefully, after I get my Bachelor's, I'd pursue a Master's Degree. I dunno what yet though.

::erm:: How'd you manage that at 16?

Oh, we don't have middle school here. Our education systems are waaaayyy too different. >.>

Kinda-off-topic: My professor in Philosophy is currently having her dissertation for her PhD and she's only 24. :) It's an inspiring feat... if you have the money. ;___;

Well, it's different here in Northern Ireland from England / the rest of the world.

We get 7 years of Primary school. (ages 5 - 11)
Then 7 years of Secondary school.(11-16 is necessary).

But only 5 years of Secondary school are necessary, so I'm 15 and in my fifth year of secondary school. I wanted to go to 6th year, but because my attendance was so bad last year they won't accept me. T_T You need at least 90% and I got 49%. What am I gonna do after this year? ::weepy::

Wouldn't that be a Senior? I don't know if schools in Sweden are like the ones here, though. : /

I can't find any senior on the list XD I'm not familiar with american school system at all so I have no idea. I believe gymnasiet (that I'm in) is called upper secondary school, it's between highschool and university. I think. xD

By "senior" is meant "last year of high school". Generally here you go to high school for 4 years, and they're called:

1st year: freshman
2nd year: sophomore
3rd year: junior
4th year: senior

You can also call the 4 years of university the same way.

I'm in my first year in University studying French Litterature. So I'm a "freshman", that's right?

I never participated in this poll, SO:

I have two teaching degrees. I plan on going back to grad school in a few years to receive my MS in Astronomy.
