Ohhh... 1000 signatures? Is that what Mana is spending his time doing?
I lie, I'd want an autograph too. For me, an autograph means a lot- as has been brought up, it is very unique to an individual. However, I think that (and not to become all handwriting-analyst on you) it reveals a lot about a person. Take Kami for example, large and scripty, very direct and elegant. (I really wish that I had bid on that MM members autographed board a few months ago: but how can you verify authenticity?) More than that, really, I just like the concept of knowing that person's palm grazed the paper. THEY wrote this, and it means a lot to me- my physical world is very small, and to know that the people I am connected to through the internet are as real as to convey how they percieve their own title (name) through a felt-tipped marker, for someone as young and unexperienced as I- a simple autograph makes me feel closer to my world.
Maybe corny, maybe too... bold? for me to say, but until (IF) a time comes when I am able to stand before in person, shake someone's hand, and have them enscribe their title for the purpose of a fan who was dear enough to wait in line who whoknowshowlong- to get it as a nice little extra is a great bonus.
Too bad I'm not ordering this release... XD
