why all the children in the PVs anyway? if i remember correctly, there were kids in gekka no yasokyoku, le~ciel, beast of blood, there was a model (maybe the one from the live) in the Gardenia video, and a model in Garnet.

Symbolism. Children mean innocence...or the corruption of innocence (which seems to be the case in a lot of PVs...)

I also think that in Gekka, Le Ciel and Gardenia they symbolise innocence like Jessi said, and in Beast of Blood they twist your idea of innocence which makes them disturbing. The idea of disturbing vampire children probably comes from Anne Rice.

The kid in the BoB PV is absolutely disgusting. Warping his face makes me want to pound the crap out him, not hide under the blankets. Whether he was supposed to be frightening or not, I don't know, but no one can take such a stupid face seriously. Really. He made me puke. I think it's that pure, white, blond children just portray the idea of innocence better as far as imagery goes.

I read somewhere that a lot of Japanese vids use white people in their vids b/c it's cool and that they don't want to see themselves(?). Where did I read that???? Was it on Faith's site???? :? *scratches head*

Probably because of the the checkered floor. It reminded me of when Danny was playing with his trucks and they zoomed out to show the whole hallway (red and orange). That really impressed me.

Of course they don't really connect though, so it's probably just me.

His name is Christopher. There were also two girls in that video Suvi and Taru (finnish names).
