X Japan in december.

Yeah, that's Toshi, actually. I've seen other recent pictures of him, and he does look very different.

So...December? I really don't know what to think about this, I love X-Japan but it'll be very weird...

To be honest I really don't think this will work unless they get an amazing guitarist... who is completely unlike hide. Anyone that tries to emulate him will end up being a pale comparison. They should pull a Queen and hire a Japanese Paul Rodgers.

I like X Japan alot, but I don't really know what to think about this either.

As for the guitarist, I could only suggest Sugizo. He and hide seemed to have alot of fun when on stage together.

My friend showed me the other day this link, toshi looks really old, like a grandpa -- ok, maybe i am exagerating...but... . it is cool that he wants to come back to stage after all that happened though.

No, he used to look so chiseled and fluffy. Now he looks like someone's frumpy drunken uncle.

@Elec: I agree much, but then again X was only Toshi and Yoshiki for years before the other members were added and there hasn't been any move on both Heath or Pata. This could just be a project to finish the song "Without You", I don't know why people are speculating that X has to be like it's final line-up.

Judging from the various posts on Yoshiki's myspace, even he seems unsure as to weather or not this is a good idea. Hide's death is still a pretty fresh wound for him. And I'm not sure if this is a good idea for the man <3 I really hope he put a lot of thought into this decision, and didn't feel too pressured from the fans.

I might write him about this later, if I can find the proper words.

Oh yeah that's Toshi, alright. I'd recognize that chin anywhere. He looks like hell, but.. I'm glad to hear he's still around. Though I'm still uncertain as to weather or not this whole thing is a good idea.

^Personally wether it's X or not, it's clear that these two want to work together again and to me that is enough. Also, Toshi talked about it in an interview much after Yoshiki's post about it, whereas he doesn't really have time to post or anything ever.
