I saw after the credits :P

ehh, it was good but I liked the second one better. They left open so many possibilities at the end, I won't be surprised if a sequal does come up. You never know right? I was told there's suppose to be a spin-off that is going to be all about Wolverine. I'll go see it, hopefully it'll be better then Van Hellsing :P

Spoilers
I was happy they killed off Cyclops early in the beginning. I never did like him ha ha ha
It sucked that Nightcrawler wasn't in it and that Mystique lost her powers.

Heh, i'm lucky i've got a friend who loves the comic series. so i have even pre-fourth-movie-spoilers. but yeah...i'd totally say them, even though i'm sure people here read them, but i don't want to. Is it against scape rules to post spoilers? i can't remember, but it's okay, cause do as inifinty is playing, and it's so catchy.

but i'll tell you one (or two), mystique gets her powers back. OH NO! and the phoenix can't die. teeheehee.

um, i guess they really messed up crap, though. like the juggernaut isn't even a mutant, he gets his power from a gem. and leech can not only nullify powers, but he can amplify them as well.

are those (the most recent not-even-a-paragraph) spoilers?

For us losers here in Japan, we dont get to see X-Men 3 until SEPTEMBER. ::cuss:: I already downloaded the Wolverine wallpaper and the Jean Grey MSN icon (though I had to get them from the Japanese version of the site cuz the US one didnt like my computer and refused to give anything to me!). I've been an X-Men fan since I was 13 years old, around the time when my own mutation manifested itself...unfortunately that only meant that my pancreas stopped working.

I supported myself in X-men when my gender got lost for the first time ::meev:: but then I noticed that it's much easier to support myself to Kaya so *ding, dong* now I was thinking that I could go and watch the part three too, but then again...that man is hairy ::bleh:: Not to mention that...I sense too much action this time.

Seriously, I wanted to see it but no money T_T so, maybe not.

Despite the rediculous amount of liberties they took with the plot and characters, I truely do believe it was the best film of the series. There were so many things about it that put it above the rest, such as exclusions of horrible lines (What happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightning?) , inclusions of some AMAZING lines (Juggernaut's OMFG line towards the end of the film), a great (original) plot, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Beast being in it, and top notch acting. Even Halle Berry was fantastic in it! And yes, there will be more coz you cannot end X-men unless you end it with Apocalypse.

(For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about with Juggernaut, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H746naqMkac )

I thought the film was pretty good, definately the best of the series, although I was dissapointed that they focused on the Dark Phoenix saga rather than Apocalypse. But my fingers are crossed for a 4th film featuring him.

I think the same, the second movie is more interesting but I don't think they make a sequal because the officil web say taht this one is the last but a spin-off of Wolfverine is more possible.
Really the Obscure Fenix is very powerfull in this movie, I love she!

And I didn't like Van Hallsing, too

I think the second film was better, and more intellegently scripted and directed, but this new film is pretty good. I had a few issues with it.

Like, when Magneto moves the entire bridge and twists it around, he completely tears it off its supports. My question is - how the heck does the bridge stay standing after that. I was thinking magneto was holding it up with his powers, but there's a certain point at which that explanation is not valid. There's no way that bridge would have been standing after all that.

There were alot of other problems with the film like that - gratuitous use of deus ex machina, and just lots of sloppy directing of that sort.

It was still alot of fun, and the Phoenix was awesome. Magneto, as always, was freakin cool. Juggernaught was a neat addition, but they didn't use him as anything more than a plot device/filler. He really added nothing to the film, other than a few wonderful one-liners.

Overall, not great at all, but still worth watching, for sure.

It was the best out of all of them.

Wolverine *drool drool*

Ahem, sorry xD

The guy who played Magneto wanted a gay sex scene with Prof. Xavier, I saw it on Yahoo News, I have lost the article link for i though.

Did anyone stay AFTER the credits and saw the little scene? ::squee::

Although I haven't seen this movie I did hear that there will be no sequel, but rather some spinoffs... but to anyone who has read the countless number of X-Men alternate universes, it's not surprising.

I imagine, if that's true, it was a joke as Ian McKellen loves to poke fun at his own homosexuality.

And yes, I did stay afterwards. I'm surprised so many people didn't! I thought it was common knowledge!

The only reason I knew was because the woman at the desk told me to stay and that no one else knew about this "secret scene" so I stayed and the credits went on for forever -_-" I was the only one there I felt like a right twat (although there were four students but they kept looking back at me and laughing at me because I was right at the top on my own :()

Samething too, the lady giving us our tickets told us to stay after the credits. So about 80% of the audience stayed xDDD

i saw it twice. the first time i had no idea that there was something after the credits. so the second time i stayed till the very end and was not dissapointed. i loved that movie.

i hated when mystique lost her powers, and the same with magneto.

and that porquupine thing was so stupid. that's not a usefull power at all. ::hora::

edit: i wish jubilee was in the movie...or gambit

Jubilee was in the movie (she was in all 3), and I was wishing Gambit was there. I like how they called it "The Last Stand" and then leave it open-ended just enough... :)

I liked the second movie better, but this one wasn't bad, just a little shocking!! Some great WTF moments.
And about Juggernaut being a mutant now, I think that goes with what Bryan Singer was trying to do with X-Men and making them more realistic. Realistic as in a "what if mutants were real" scenerio; instead of Juggernaut using magic to gain powers, he is now an evolved human. I think the same thing happened with Jean Grey/Phoenix. Dark Phoenix is her untamed power instead of an entity that lives in outer space and posesses people.

But I was happy to see Multiple Man and Psylocke, even though they were evil. (?) And Halle Berry was better this time around, but still wasn't strong enough IMO. I mean, damn, her fights with Callisto??!! I was waiting for her to open a giant can of whoop-ass. And I feel really bad for Rogue now.

I remember Rogue being part of the brotherhood with mystique in the comics during the 80's..Before she joined the x-men..
