All right, all riiiiiiight, I finally upgraded from our ancient phpBB2 system ::meev::

This is actually looking... pretty decent. I know there are still some bugs to work out, such as alternate messages not showing up in different colors (EDIT: this is fixed). If you guys come across anything else, post it here.

The biggest change is that you can't use external links to avatars anymore, you have to upload them as files directly to the forum. I already did the most recent posters in the random thread.

The old forum is archived here:
    http://www.scapeforums.com/phpbb2/
In case anyone needs anything out of there such as their old avatar.

YOUR FANTASTIC JOURNEY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

    Known issues:
Search bar is in the middle of stuff and colored weird

Kinda sad to see the old forum go, had some good nostalgic feelings associated with it.

Well, I've been trying to make the new one as much like the old one as I can - gotta make this place feel like home :)
It's going way better than our failed migration to phpBB3 a few years back, which was completely hideous and worthless XD
But hey, stick around, it's great to see you're still with us :D

Yeah, anyone who wants crosses can just ask for them now. I still need to convert them over though, so if anyone has any particular requests I'll do those first.

EDIT: also, what does everyone think of that green "online now" tab on the avatars? Should I try to get rid of that? It seems ugly.

Figured out how to put back the checkboxes and such... now we're getting a bit of character back into this place :)

Fixed quotes and the text editor to be like the old way. Most importantly, changing "said" back to "wrote" XD
