You know you like too much J-rock when...

Hm. I don't know if this would be a good thread to play a game in. Oh well. And this is just for fun. Nobody should take any of these seriously. XD

1.) When you hear a word that's a J-rock song title, you smile. Or giggle. Like, A LOT.

2.) You named your stuffed animals after j-rockers. Me? A pink elephant = IZAM. A teddy bear in overalls = Miyavi. A teddy bear in red = Kozi. Etc, etc, etc...

3.) You obssesively organize your J-rock cds by the artists' name starting with the order of the alphabet. Then, you order the cds by release date. The DVD's have their own section.

4.) You freak out 'cuz you crushed your Schwarz Stein "Current" front cd case with your elbow. But you get over it as you switch the cover with a GLAY cover, and it looks good as new. XD

5.) You always expect the good singers to have fugly, killer teef. :B

I'd say knowing the names of every band member, being able to tell them apart from everyone else (Lots of Jrockers look alike to some people), and knowing which costumes correlate with which releases for more than five bands is a pretty bad sign, too. :3

Knowing their birthdays isn't too bad if you're a fan of the band... if you're NOT, I'd say that's weird. Knowing their blood type is too much XD;

Me too! XD
It's, like, my thing. o.o

-You convert your family members to like J-Rock. MWAHAHAHAHA!!!1!

-You sacrifice as much money as you can to get J-rock cds. Then, before you know it, you're broke on your ass and homeless. But hey, at least you got your cds hidden away in your shopping cart you stole.

-You mumble j-rock songs under your breath, and people give you funny looks. 0___o

-You dress more in dark colors now. Or your wardrobe only consists of white, black, and red clothes.

- You swear you'd get a heart-attack if you hear some j-rock playing somewhere in public.

-....and you do. R.I.P

-You watch MUCC's "Zetsubou" PV a lot. Now, you feel............emo?!!? WHAT THE HELL? D:<

- You fall asleep listening to bands like Dir en Grey, D, D'espairsRay, and other loud/screamy types. Yet, you stay awake when listening to Gackt and L'arc en Ciel. :/

- You mention people and groups like Kiyoharu, The Alfee, and B'z. And then, people have NO idea what you're talking about, so now you feel emo. D:

- You'd watch a movie that features a j-rocker in it. Just because it's them. D:

- You decide to dress up in a J-rocker style. "Oh, I'm feeling very Mana today." Or, "I'm wearing a black suit with platforms. Therefore, I'm Kisaki from Kisaki Project."

- You give your instrument the name of the J-rocker who influenced you to get an instument. Mine's "Die/Kaoru".

-You cannot go 1 day without listening to something Japanese.

- If you manage to get through one day, you start to twitch afterwards and get nervous.

- You notice how about 90% of J-rockers are all skinny and pretty. You get depressed when you look in the mirror everytime.

- You start thinking that all J-rockers need some "Kyo ham".

- Out of boredom, you make a thread like this. PWNED.

- And when you take the melody out of that exact same song and use it as your mobile phone ringtone. :|

- and when you get so excited over how 'OMFGZ KAWAII NEEE'Z' it is, that you make a mistake on the second loop of the harpsicord, but you keep it anyway, because it's kawaii enough to suffice.

-You know you turned into an elite bitch of J-music.

- And you like it.

- You think Yazawa Eikichi is the true god of J-rock. NOT X/X-Japan. And you think The ALFEE should be placed before X in greatness.

- You go "HUH? " when someone mentions a non-VK band.

- You think ganguro's are scary, yet you can tolerate men in drag.

- You think Mako would make the sexiest Mad Hatter EVER. XD

- You roll your eyes everytime someone refers to Aya from PLC when they see the "Aya" name. Like, there's actually a J-rocker girl called AYA and she kicks much ass. Idiots.

Haha, I am guilty of so many of these.

-You actually think better when you listen to JRock in the morning. (It's true! I can't wake up in the morning 'til I listen to JRock..."I need to listen to M10M this morning so I can pass my trig test today")

-Going with Sumire's from before, you claim that X Japan is good relaxing "sleeping music" and fall asleep easier to hard rock than to ballads.

The only things I really do are as follows...

I usually do this with any song I know, but if I hear phrase or read something that is lyrically just like any jrock song I know, I sing it aloud. I do this already with stuff like the Beatles and Yes anyway. :-P

And along with navate, I know which look correlates to which release/interview for Dir en grey and Malice Mizer.

I've HEARD VK/jrock in public, although it was in the most frightful, sobering manner ever.
I was in a hyaku-en shop in Kurihashi (tiny-ass town in Saitama) and the muzak was going, and they played these cheesy synthed- and saxed-out versions of Dir en grey's "Yurameki" and Gackt's "Oasis".
There's a Chinese tea shop here in Davis that always is playing Cantonese movies and music videos, and sometimes they play soooome Japanese stuff, and Dir en grey's "The Final" video came on.

I DID transcribe m10m's "L'intellieur Dix" as the ringtone for my phone; I've also done Bel Air and Myaku ones.

I already arrange my albums alphabetically then by chronology, so it doesn't just apply to the Japanese music I have.

- You cosplay.

- You get pissed when you see Dir en Grey and not Dir en grey.

- You get angry when J-rock bands aren't nominees at the Grammies? D:
