X/X Japan founder and superstar Yoshiki will be making an appearance at this year's Otakon anime convention. The convention takes place from August 4-6th in Baltimore, Maryland. Yoshiki will be joining Nana Kitada and MUCC as this year's star musical attractions for the con. He will participate in a panel and sign autographs but unfortunately, he will not be performing. More info can be found at Otakon's Official Site over the next few days.

I am suprised they can even afford big name artists after L'Arc en Ciel ! My friends and I thought that was why the guest list suffered so much for 2005 >.>!

I am sure he will have a great time with the fans, from what I hear he is extremely generous. However I can't get this scene out of my head with him going off on some poor fangirl with a "OMFG WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUUU?!?11ONE!? Wtf.... seriously....F*CK!" like he did on that guy in a clip I saw XD!

So the myspace is actually real? I can't help but laugh, because he actually uses it? Isn't he a big super mega star like Gackt? Because most major muscians on that site don't seem to even touch their official myspace profiles.

I find some of the fan comments funny and I was hoping there to be a stereotypic myspace picture, of him in the bathroom mirror taking his picture xD Though there is one that is kind of like that, still though, that would seriously make my day xDD

Yea, but from what people say he is a super mega star that likes to be really nice to everyone XD! Except his employees.... but yea . It is a lot more than what most musical people do. You're right though... some of the fan comments ARE stupid, but the bathroom myspace Yoshiki would have rocked !

In his blog he seems to be the judge of some.... Jrock fashion contest thing? I should get together my best h.NAOTO/DARK RED RUM whore wear and try out. I couldn't be worse than some of the people I can imagine entering >_>. The weekend goth count for Otakon was mind boggling in 2005.
