Hello everyone! It's that time of the year again, Christmas! I thought that this thread should go up because it's December, and we all want something for Christmas, whether it can be wrapped and placed under a tree or not.

On that note, Let's mix things up; List 5 things that you want for Christmas that can be wrapped up and placed under the tree (Material things), and 5 things that can't be put under the tree, or even wrapped up, for that matter (non-material, or things that can't be bought at a store).

Red Dwarf: The Complete Series - BOUGHT! It's on for $128 CAD on Amazon (regular price was $165 more) so I asked Mum and she gave me the cash to snap it up! I'm so excited. I've also secretly purchased the 2 Star Trek movies she's missing from her collection, AND I bought myself Comics & Sequential Art and Graphic Storytelling And Visual Narrative, both by Will Eisner.

I'd also like:
Absolute Sandman Volumes 1 & 2 (I'll buy myself volume 1 in January, more likely)
Pushing Daisies Season 1 (Hoping my sister will get me this)

Me and my husband never buy each other anything for XMas because we share money and it feels kind of silly to receive a gift paid for with your own money. If we really want something, we can just go buy it, you know? Also, we're both big Scrooges.

But tonight I see a wrapped package in the living room, and I'm told that it is my XMas present and I have to wait until XMas to open it. Though it's always fun to get presents, I'm confused as to why he got me a present and now I'm going to have to get him something.

So here's what I hope this unexpected gift will be:

1. an XBox 360 - with a copy of Fable II (oh please oh please oh please)
2. an ipod, because I'm starting to feel like a loser for never having owned one
3. a new computer
4. Bara no Konrei, Bara ni Irodorareta and Bara no Kiseki (the only MM DVD's that I only have rips of rather than the actual disc)

1. for the government to NOT bail out the auto industry
2. MM reunion including a US tour
3. for George R.R. Martin to finish the Song of Fire and Ice series before he drops dead of a heartattack (fat bastard)
4. for the final 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica to be on my TV, like, NOW!
5. a lifetime subscription to XM radio (I got 3 months free when I got my new car but now I'm completely addicted to it and I don't know how I'm going to deal with it when the free period is up.)
