ah! yeah! Ampute Gerbera was the first song from this album that caught me.

There will be a new DVD from his last shows?

They were a prog-rock band with almost the same lineup as P-MODEL, active from 1972-78 or so. They only released a one-song record back in the day, but Hirasawa put out 2 CDs with more stuff back in the 90s.

You can buy the CDs here - I recommend them.

Just heard the whole album and enjoy it a loooot!

I like the fifth and sixth tracks, "Dμ34=Fushi" and "Dr.Drevniye", the best from disc.

What, not the title track? I thought it was probably the best of them, though the whole album was one of those rare encounters with genius.
I almost wonder if he just does the "regular" solo albums to pay the bills at this point, because this was on a whole different level from most of his recent stuff. I don't think he's had an album of ALL hits since... a long time.

My favorite one are гипноза and Dμ34=Fushi", I just melt with those magnificent sounds.

Update for all you HIRA FANS: "ERROR" is finally being released on DVD, along with a re-pressing of "error CD":

Just got mine in today

BITMAP is also getting a DVD release next month:

They're doing a bunch of releases for the 25th anniversary of Hirasawa's solo career. There are also re-releases of his first 5 solo albums on SHM-CD, though that format is probably just a marketing gimmick ::cred:: Still, those albums have been in and out of print lately so it's good they're getting back onto the market.

Full details of "Project Archetype" here:

Hirasawa released a remake of "Christmas in Africa" for Christmas ::meev:: This time with him on vocals instead of that girl idol singer XD I liked the original better, but it's good to see him paying tribute to the classics.

I love the cover XD
I'm not really a huge fan of that album in general, but you know I'll buy it anyway ::batsu::
Really, I'm just glad he didn't do "Town-0 Phase-5" again. Fans of his new solo stuff seem to love that one the most, but it absolutely does nothing for me.
Most looking forward to the electronic mix at the end of the main act o-o/ I wonder if "Gerbera" in the encore is the one by Shampoo or what.
