I don't actually think it's that bad of an album title, but.. it's already too late for Mana. I already know once it's released, no matter how good it is, there's going to be an army of villagers with pitchforks at Mana's house.
I'm actually not worried a bit about this next release. He's had some time to think it over, and from what I gather, has more time to produce it. Really, if anything, he's only gotten better with the guitaring when it comes to his current style.
People always rag on Lamentful Miss and Beyond the Gate, but really. Compare it to things like.. Dix Infernal or Nocturnal Opera where there was this overpowering synth, and in the background there was this simple, rather useless guitar riff that could barely be heard. Give the man some credit! He's sure enough gotten better.
Back on topic though.. Dixandu has a nice sound to it. It's cheesy but not SUPER cheesy. Really, though, one thing I could do without on the next album is an oversynthed voice. I also hope to hear at least one legit black metal song. Just one! I know Seth can do it (Vizard on Paris Bootleg) and I know Mana can (Gloire blah blah and Shadows Temple) because now he's discovered a more aggressive sound, and maybe now he can put the tremelo picking of previous releases to better use.
