Actually, he only wrote them for half of the songs (the lyrics for one of them are mysteriously missing; I'll look into that tonight. It was the other band member who wrote them though)...

I guess there was also another demo tape with Everlasting and Insurgent , but I've never seen the lyrics to that one and didn't feel like outbidding the crazy Japanese guy for the tape on yahoo auctions *lol*

Friggin crazy japanese guy!! xDD

Well i'm kinda late on giving my take on the album even though i got it on the 16th.

I've listenened to it every day >.<
Can you say OBSESSED?~

Carmilla....i like to sing it now.
Walkure....Still kinda ify to me because i never liked it,but i can tolerate it as it doesnt ruin the pace of the album.

Paradise lost....SEXY. XDD It sounds like digital sex to me.
funerary dream....The only reason worth buying Limited Edition. Period. It's beautiful. Best song on the CD. :D I miss another cell's version too<3 Haha about the handclaps as someone said earlier.

Psycho Butterfly......"hira hira hira" 'Nuff said. I like it.
Masquerade.....FINALLY! It took 3 releases to make me like this song. I sing it alot!

Epicurean.....I wish this song had been switched with Silvery Dark because i think it'd fit the pace better. So Mortal Kombat! And then the weird screams & the lady saying "Music" at the end reminds of those Cruisin' Racing Games. xDDD TOTAL VIDEO GAME.
(KALM's been playing too many games with Hora)

Silvery Dark.....I like it. The bridge & ending got major redo's and it was for the better! Loved.
Kasha -shining flowers-......More guitar!!! I'm workin on a dance routine for it...Did Kaya perform it & do a dance?? Anyone?

Rose Jail......More Digital Sex. :) He tried to up the seductiveness of his voice...Listen for the verses.
Glitter Arch.....weird twinkles & more guitar (i heard on headphones) make it really fun to listen to. I still kind of prefer the original.

And Hydrangea.....Not really disappointed,but....I MISS THEN HIP HOP BEAT!!!!! ;______; xDDD

There's my take. :)
-Moe.

I've been busy all this week but I want now to make my review.

My postal service is better now! I got the box in half the time, I dunno why, but thanks.

First, I have to say I listened to this cd in my car, my friend's car and with earphones, and you know it sounds waaay better with earphones.

1. Carmilla: Better that the single version to me. I think the last part of the single version is a crap. Still, I find the new last part is weird, because repeating the chorus two times, and with the high tone ending.....just doesn't match.

2. Walkure: Better than the first one to me. I don't know why it being a typical Kaya song, it doesn't reach my mind. I like it much more now, but it's still not into my favorites.

3. Paradise lost: One of my favorites i must say. Original and new version are amazing, so I don't prefer one better. Vocals on this new version are so cool, and the breaking glass is so nice. Kaya vocals as well as all this album songs have sooo much better quality, so I'd prefer it for that reason.

4. Funerary Dream: As well as paradise lost, it's one of my favorites and both version are awesome to me. Kaya's voice in this new version have like more sad feeling to me.

5. Psycho Butterfly: I like it more than older version. The background obscure sound is so Kalmy and it reminds me Velvet Eden a little (not the song itself, but the background new sound).

6. Masquerade: I have never liked this song, but I CAN let it in the playlist because the new instruments and the improved quality of the recording makes this song to be very good well made. I want to say the song is excellent, but I don't like this song contrasted with the other Kaya works.

7. Epicurean: One of my favorites. It's so gay XD. I don't imagine mortal combat, but some gay sailor club XD. like the song which lyrics say "Everybody dance now!". I feel that because of that music music music background sound and the scream at some parts.

8. Silvery Dark: I hate it. Kaya vocals are excellent, but I totally hate ballads. I just can't stand this song, and I can't find the difference with the other versions.

9. Kasha ~shining flowers~: Both versions are excellent to me. This version is amazing with the guitars, I wish there had been recorded aloud guitars. Still, the end of this new version has a problem. When Kaya sings the uuuuuuuuuu ending, this new version is soooo low, compared to the whole other part of the song, makes you lose the good feeling. With all that, one of my favorites too.

10. Rose Jail: Both versions are sooo good, but the first one has very arranged kaya vocals, they are drowned with all the effects. In this one, I feel it's better and the ending is better, you can understand when kaya is singing and its not all blurry. One of my favorites.

11. Glitter Arch: I didn't LOVE this song before, but as the sound has improved, I like it so much more now. When i first listened to it, the part of the tamagotchi sound in the background made me mute the radio of the car because I thought it was some celphone or something, I got scared.

12. Hydrangea: Way better than the old version to me. Past version had this awful feminine vocals, and an uncomfortable melody. This instead, has improved sound quality, as well as improved vocals quality, and I can feel something listening to it besides disgust.

Oh, the end? XD, well, yeah, it was my review, what you guys think?. And which songs are your favorite?. Later I'll be posting a small picture I took of my poster arranged XD I had a rage of imagination.

Oh yes, I agree with that. I've had Glitter in my car (a burned copy of course - I'm not letting my real copies out of my house) since the 16th, and I keep going back to Paradise lost and putting it on repeat and then melting into mush. XD Which probably isn't good as I'm usually driving my car.

I didn't know so many people from -scape- were at the show o_O

Rose Jail was a lot of fun and I think Kaya really liked the attention... When he was right in front of me, someone grabbed at his face and he made a point of licking the hand, so...

(Did anyone see me? I saw some non-Japanese people, but not too many... I was the American guy wearing a black/white/gray stripped button-down shirt and reading a book in line...)

Anyway, about the album itself...

Super late, but that live was funnnn. So many guys lately!

I think I saw you, well, actually, I'm sure I did. There was only one white guy there lol. I think almost every foreigner there except for two (that I know aren't on scape) is on scape hahahaha

Can someone explain?? I've read the lyrics but.... ::hora::

Glitter's sold out aaand the booklet translation is hard to read (I didn't realize it was the translation until I translated it myself)

Anyway, here's my (clumsy) translation I did like 8923498237 years ago. After I did this I checked the booklet and it (kind of) coincides so I guess I got the point? And I decided to capitalize the same things they did because it's funnier that way. It could translate as 'lick my feet' but maybe Kaya has a particular foot he likes licked, ionno.

Kaya's said that there's more than one story in the song and different layers of meaning in the lyrics and it's up to you to interpret as you wish. I personally refer to the double-chomes as 'paradise lost', but I'm sure a lot of people who take issue with that, haha :p

Paradise Lost

He came here without making a sound
hidden by the blurry night

To escape a deep sense of guilt and despair

The world refused everything about him and denied his existence

At last he found his way to the end of despair
A sweet garden of immorality

"I've finally met you. I've been waiting so long. Come closer.
You're trembling. You poor thing. I'll warm you up."

Sweet whispers
They're toxic
Intertwine white fingertips

The dense darkness
gradually erodes his everything

"That's right, this is paradise
No one will blame you anymore
Anything and everything is forgiven here

Do you remember my darling?
That bliss that smells sweeter than rose nectar

LICK MY FOOT
Come on, make love to me, right now"

Sliding his smooth body into darkness, he buried his thoughts.
While being consumed by darkness
he secured eternal peace of mind

Sweet whispers
They're toxic
Intertwine white fingertips

The dense darkness
concealed him completely under a thick layer

"Yes, this is paradise
No one will blame you anymore
Anything and everything is forgiven here

Do you remember, my darling?
That bliss that smells sweeter than rose nectar

LICK MY FOOT
Come on, make love to me, right now"

All sins melted into the night and roses bloomed on top of him

In the middle of the dark Roses sway

"WHO IS TONIGHT'S GUEST?"

Yup. And Suspended Ideal actually went through the booklet and typed everything out about a year ago.

It's been forever, waiting for you.

You're trembling.
Poor thing.
Come closer, poor thing.
I'll warm you up.
This sweet whisper is torture

Entwine our white fingers
The deep darkness gradually erodes his everything
This is paradise
Remember? My dear,
the bliss that smells sweeter than rose nectar?
This sweet whisper is torture

He slips his smooth body into darkness
And buries his thoughts

He is concealed completely

Lost in a thick layer of deep darkness

The roses sway in the darkness
No one blames you anymore
Give into the night
Lick my foot
Come on now, make love to me

And roses bloom on him...
...Who is tonights guest?

Who is tonights guest?

You have absolutely no idea how much eyestrain it took trying to read that. The majority of it was a size 6 text, perhaps even a size 4, but I believe I've written everything correctly.

Although this is probably a futile request, and I hold nothing over these lyrics, I'd like this if you didn't submit these to websites, or whatever, since I took the time and almost caused myself blindness typing these up for you..

Ahh, well, it would've been nice if you quoted that when people were asking for the lyrics, nee.

And in case you didn't know, using "nee" implies unpleasantries yo :/

Edt: Unless someone else asked and I missed it, and in that case my bad.

Could anybody who also received the awesome Glitter poster tell me what size it is? pretty please?
I need to frame the sucker and I accidentally threw out all the paperwork that came with the cd and CdJapan no longer even lists the poster.

Why don't you just grab a measuring tape and measure it?
