The band wear a few of their costumes in merveilles l'espace. He wears the Gekka no Yasoukyoku costume for Gekka/Bel Air/Syunikiss/Aegean/Hokyoku something (probably wrong). The merveilles winged costumes are only worn for Le ciel

Speaking of Gackt's eyes, I have a recording of Syuinikiss from an old concert, they were wearing those weird period costumes, Mana in that blue dress, Gackt's eyes are SO intense when he sings, almost hypnotic.

and am I the only one who noticed Gackt almost have a breakdown or somthing 3 times?

Yes, they are! I think it's amazing how passionate Gackt is during his performances.

In the Merveilles l'Espace performance of Le Ciel, it's like he is the angel in the story of the song, and he is feeling the despair that the angel is feeling. I think it's amazing. Gackt is really an amazing performer. Ehehe, the first time I saw the l'Espace performance, it made me cry ^_____^;

all the other members look at Gackt, like"....What the hell is he doing.....?!" ..then everyone looks at each other with these.. looks of, "oh crap.. you see it too. "

and you see Gackt watery eyed in Au Revoir.. (he takes a gulp and holds his stand though)

Le ciel.. he's sheads a tear...and you can't cry and sing at the same time.. so he never says the last line of the song... (well technically repeats it over like he should) but they go on with the performance....


generally... whenever gets down on the floor... he's reallly into it.

because he's a true professional, that's why I like him, maybe he isn't the best voice or the cutest guy, but his devotion for his work and the fans is quite amazing thing.....about that , is also one of the reasons why I didn't like much Klaha

anyway, i think gackt looks pretty okay. i see no reason to oogle over him or anything. klaha is better looking, i think. but when it comes to being really passionate, gackt is better. now when it comes to vocals, i think klaha's voice is better.

xDD... well Mana isn't that pretty, without make-up he looks just like Hide .....anyway I never said that Gackt isn't cute what I said was "maybe he isn't the cutest or the best voice" objectively talking isn't the same, besides to me at least he has diferent kind of beauty and about the voice isn't the most amazing in terms of "complexity" (like Hyde or Yuki of Raphael) but his lives performances can't be better is almost like if his voice were previously recorded.....a genius

I don't see those reactions.. at all. o___O;; I don't think one band member changes facial expression the entire time except for Gackt and Kami. Mana, Yu~ki and Kozi stay pretty focused on what they're doing.. no real reactions toward Gackt.

Maybe you're confusing Gackt's reactions and not singing at the end of some songs with fatigue?

And the thing about his first live.. Well it's his first live. There could be many reasons for him crying. Could be he's amazed at the turnout or the foreseen fame he'd have with them. For all we know it might not have anything to do with the music.

I've certainly heard singers sing through crying. It seems more like a performance than actual sadness, but then again not all of Gackt's.. "marbles" are there. It's kinda funny to see him just staring at nothing and zoning out. I dunno, I just couldn't take him seriously in Malice for some reason.

As for the crying thing.... dude, watch a live preformance of Deg's Zakuro or Mushi, or other such very emotional song in which Kyo inevitably breaks down while singing. He gets so upset, I don't know how he sings at all, but he does. Gackt, however, is a little too melodramatic to take seriously at times... even when teary-eyed.
