I don't think that people realize that Mana isn't going to produce all of her music, it was just this one song. At least, that's the impression I got.

if it's an only one time thing, why would all the link to Mana/Moi dix Mois website be on her website? And why did they make a Mana x Kanon meeting interview? (that i would love someone to translate <3)
And why would people say he produce her and not say he just wrote music for her for one song?!

Mana is a big name in the scene, why wouldn't they want to associate them with each other? Most artists will link back to their producers, there's nothing special there.

For the most part, produced means that he wrote music. It's the same thing.

I don't think he'll be producing her 'til kingdom come, but I expect he'll do more than just this single. Maybe she'll write some songs, or someone else will contribute a couple compositions, but I had the impression that he would be doing more than just this.

I hope he does. I think this is a really great project.

The song is really catchy... Even though I am not that thrilled about Kanon I cant get the song out of my head... " Hi miss Alice.." XD

anyway, I just fail to see anything special in Kanon ( besides her playing cello)... i heard her voice many times before ... it sounds the same as most of female japanese singers. Not saying she is a bad singer or anything... she is just average... Mana-sama always chose the vocalists that would be singing his songs wisely, I am curious to see why he chose Kanon...

I am also curious to read the interview that yun was talking about...

And so we await until someone who is really good at Japanese wants to translate the "how they met" section... I am so curious... *puppy eyes*

I like her voice better now, ... and I think that I'm also a little bit intrigued to watch more episodes of that Vampire Knight anime.

Altogether I like that song. I thinks you can tell that it's a "Mana Production" (sounds like a brand xD) .
Tough somehow the change between the obscure mood at the beginning and the more light one that follows (and it repeats at the end) bothers me ... I just think it would have been somewhat better if it got more obscure and gloomy and the like and not all happy and lively as it is. But that's just my point of view, it's not my work after all and I accept it the way it is :) .

Just a question which really concerns me: Is she wearing a wig?

Yellow text xDDD

Incredibly off-topic, but your avatar is really cool.

And yes, that's a wig. It doesn't have a regular part; instead the hair all starts at one point in the center. That, and I see very similar wigs advertised in every GLB issue. ::gaku::

where is this? ::bleh::
Well I totally agree with her  I guess the happy part is the chorus lol.
Yeah..it's the chorus. I mean..it's not happy happy, but it's more light sounding than the verses. It's not bad by any means, but I just would have liked the song even more if the mood hadn't changed throughout the song. That's one reason why I can't often listen to various classical music (although the change is usually very dramatic compared with the lesser change in still doll). The first minute the song will sound really cool and dark to me, but then it changes to singing birds and pretty flowers...I should probably just stop trying to explain while I'm ahead. ::meev::

@ Cerceaux: Thanks :D ..I was getting so sick of my old avatar that I've had since joining the forums.

To me that "happier" part is not happier at all, it's more emotional.

i dont really like it, its kinda dull and average. also i think if mana wouldnt produce her she would drown in the world of establishing artists.

Well, I was kinda sure that it had to be a wig (I can tell if it's a wig most of the time  ), but I just wanted to make sure before I start talking nonsense.

I didn't listen to the song that many times ( maybe once the full version ), but that "Miss Alice" already captured my head ... very catchy.

Are those characters from BattleStar Galactica in your icon?
Edit: Okay, I just saw your signature, so it's clear
