Moi dix Mois and parents???

My parents says that the music is ok, but that they can't
stand men who wear make up or cross-dresses.
But I don't really mind.
As long as I can see the beauty in M10M,
everything is just fine.

You mean "Jrock, Inc", which was published in October of this year?

My parents like the Jmusic... xP especially, my mom. She support me a lot. Is curious to me the first reaction they have when they watch Mana in a mag, because they listened the music before to see them. And the happy part is when my relatives comes to my house and listen the music: my parents defeat me from my uncles and my cousins xDDD saying we (me, brother and parents) are open-mind and what's really the problem with the clothes or the make up, if the really important is the person condition.

The really problem, to me, is in where I live.

In my case, the place where I live is repleted of a guys who likes pop or cumbia, salsa, etc...in the meaning in the cases. Is strange to hear something in english, or another language (maybe german for rammmstein)... so, you can imagine the reaction when one neightbor listen a strange kind of music called ¿rock? by a "chinese" band, who's look like smalls womens..... some time ago, I was attacked for them, calling me "Satan's daughter" or "social parasite"... but my family was with me and I win the demand. =^^=

WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE GACKT?

My brother says that he enjoys some of Malice Mizer, but he HATES Moi dix Mois, think's Gackt's an asshole, and thinks Dir en grey is totally generic.

My mom doesn't understand it, but she doesn't care at all. She justs hates that it costs so much. She said she feels like she spends $500 every Christmas for one DVD or CD. She also really likes the song "au revoir." She doesn't know it, but that's my all-time favorite song. Funny coincidence.

My dad hates what he doesn't understand. He think's Mana's a freak of nature and that all of the like of the -scape- artists are going to hell. But, hey, he thinks I'm going to hell, too.

My best friend Missa truly appreciates the "best" VK bands and is SUPER jealous of Mana's legs, but the only CD I have that she likes is Bara no Seidou. My friend Megan likes it, too.

My only friend that actually LIKES VK is my dear friend Amelie, and she's our school's AFS student this year. XD

But, other than that, NO ONE I KNOW LIKES ANYTHING JAPANESE. @.@ Oh well, Arkansas sucks.

when I found out the magic of region 2 dvds -_-;
Most of the time, they have no comments and the most I ever get is when they're
"surprised/weirded out" by "my music" as they refer it.

But luckilly my friend bought it for me!

My parents never see Moi Dix Mois covers as anything more then "that one Japanese band that likes fire and big hair" so they understand that the whole thing is a stage thing. Plus they've seen Mana before in Malice Mizer, so they're kinda used to whatever I bring home. (Mana's picture on the back of Voyage sans Retour is a small taste of the later Mana to come, I think)

Plus, my dad used to listen to Black Sabbath, so he had no issues with buying me Scars of Sabbath, though they're kinda... different, heeheehee

How old are you? (Sorry if this was already mentioned.) No matter how old you are, though, they can't decide what you like. Some people just think that if something bothers them, it should bother you too. It seems this is often true with parents.

Lucky for me, my mother is perfectly accepting of my J-rock. She actually compliments Mana - says he must be an intelligent man, etc. I just keep everything away from my stepdad, and agree with him when he sees my desktop and says the girl is pretty.
