Ever?
How old are you? If you're as old as I'm assuming, of COURSE you don't want kids right now. You may change your mind and you may not; but I hope SOMEday you understand yourself.

Well... I'm only 15 so maby (probably) I'll change my mind someday...
But when I think about it now, I can't even imagine of having children someday.
I mean... They might turn as weird as I am.

Besides... I think I'll be happier alone.

Is it that you don't WANT them or do you think you won't be a good parent? Sometimes people just think they're not fit to be a parent.

I guess I think I would do no good as a parent...
Since it's sometimes hard to even take care of myself, how could I take care of someone else?
It feels impossible to me now.
But of course, things might change.
Maby I have ten children in the future...
:| who knows...

That's how I am..the two times I've attempted to go out with someone, I ended up never wanting to go out and do something with them^^..right now I feel like I should stay alone until I change, if that day will even come.

I haven't never even found anyone who understands me and the reasons why I am what I am.
So it's hard to imagine that there IS a person like that.

Better stay alone and not get hurt I think. :?

They don't have to like it. I mean it's not like you're doing drugs; you're still a good kid who does well in school and behaves. If you're not that, well, there's a place to start and there's probably more to the problem than just the music you listen to.

Can you say every member of every VK band did well in school and behaved? I don't think you should just assume things like that about people... because a lot of the people who pioneered rock music were NOT good kids who did particularly well at school or behaved... and I think music can definitely make you act this way. It changes people's lifes all the time. x']

If you think music makes you "act" a certain way, then you'd be agreeing with the litigants that said that Judas Priest contained Satanic subliminal messages and that The Beatles made Charlie Manson muder Sharon Tate and her unborn child.
Secondly, there were also a lot who pioneered rock who DID behave themselves.
And besides, Riz was talking about us folks who listen to the music, not necessarily those who made it. Although given the society I can't fathom many of them acting up, to be perfectly frank.

Music doesn't make you act a certain way, but there's a certain correlation between the music you listen to and the circles you associate in. And there's a correlation between the circles you associate in and your behavior. For example, I'd say listening to VK might make you somewhat more likely to do "irimachi" and "demachi" ;)

Of course, the solution to this is good parenting, not taking away the music.

When I said 'act this way' I didn't mean any of that stuff you mentioned. I made it perfectly clear I was referring to the subject of school... but yes, I do think music CAN (not DOES) make you act in a certain way to an extent. How many punks were there before The Sex Pistols? How many violent, nihilistic, anarchist individuals shaped in the punk era do you think where exactly the same before bands like The Clash and Sham 69 strated appearing?

And what you said about people who did behave themselves... I never said there wasn't. But I can certainly think of more who misbehaved than behaved.

Do you think the music BUILT those mindsets? All the music did was give the people like that a name and something to have in common.
People don't hear something and think "Yeah, I wanna change myself to be just like that", it's more like they already have proclivities for those ideals and simple declare themselves aligned with it.

Maybe not violent or punk.. but they were once called hippies. ;) Their message may have been "love and peace" but they didn't want "the man" holding them down. In a sense, they had the same goal. They just went about it in a different way.

And was it not music that influenced hippies too? : )

Going from a hippy to a punk just proves my theory...

It doesn't PROVE anything. Music just gave the people who had that mindset some place to all meet and convey how they felt with the band as the one projecting how they felt. Not everyone had a mindset placed in their head by music.

I don't recall assuming anything, I never said anything about band members. I was just saying If you're a good kid parents are gonna cut you some slack. If you're not, well, the music you listen to is just something else in a string of things they don't like and I doubt they will very much. This certainly doesn't mean every person who listens to VK is a good kid, nor the musicians who make it. You can certainly be a rotten kid and rebel all the way and go that route. You're retarded if you act that way just because of music or to fit in with a scene though. :P
