I thought this was a joke, but the joke was on me

I mean... it's good to see Mana branching out and doing an entirely new theme for the first time in forever, but this seems like what I'd call highly situational fashion.

The hat is clever, I like the lace inside the brim. But yeah, that shirt with the sleeves... ::meev::

It definitely seems like they're trying to get more creative at Moitie, for better or for worse.

25th anniversary festivities:
https://moi-meme-moitie.com/25th_anniversary

4 artists drew pictures of Mana, the most notable of whom is Mitsukazu Mihara. But they're really pushing these 4 pictures hard. T-shirts, get your t-shirts!

REVIEW: Cyber Flap Shoulder Bag
I picked up this bag on sale: https://www.wunderwelt.jp/en/products/a-00549?variant=44939590074528 (price paid: $132 + shipping)

First off, the elephant in the room: the online photos have a bit of a green tinge to them, and that is true of the real thing as well. Kind of an odd color choice.
The material is claimed to be 100% cotton, coated in polyurethane. While the bag itself comes with no care tags, I have no particular reason to doubt it. It does seem to be highly water-resistant - I splashed a bit of water on it and none of it soaked into the bag. However, since the top of the bag has no zip closure, just a fold-over flap that doesn't create a seal, you still won't want to take this out in the rain if you can avoid it. The bag overall is stiff and sturdy, so you could carry around books or papers without worrying about them getting banged up too much.
As far as sourcing goes, the bag was made in China for a Japanese company, WHY (the parent group of Artherapie).

There's not much in the way of trade dress beyond the Moitie logo blindstamped on the front, which will likely go unnoticed unless someone is looking for it. The handle ends and zipper pulls are vaguely coffin-shaped, but that seems to be true of the parent line as well:
https://artherapie-store.com/?pid=143050513
The interior lining, of course, is Mana-blue and there's a Moi-meme-Moitie logo patch sewn into the interior next to the Artherapie logo.

The interior itself is laid out very similarly to the Artherapie bag above - one zip pocket, and two pouches. The larger pouch is about the right size to hold a can of Moxie, or possibly other beverages if people drink them. The main selling point is the bag's size. Most fashionable bags are either the size of a credit card or the size of a Mini Cooper. This one will let you actually carry useful things - even a 14-inch laptop at a stretch.

Verdict: if you're looking for the ultimate in gothic lolita fantasywear, keep looking. But if you want a practical, hard-wearing bag that has a bit of Mana flair to it and sends a few ducats to the lord of darkness' bottom line, this might fit the bill. Given the current sales and exchange rates, the asking price isn't too bad right now.

Immediately when I saw this product, I thought of a much more 'office goth' style, something to ornament in the office aesthetic. Also, fits a laptop lmao.

This is just a comment about the Collar Button Fishtail Gillet. I don't know if it can be considered a review because it's not entirely professional, it's just comments. ::cam::

I noticed that the size on Wunderwelt is only "Lady's" but it fit me perfectly fine. I saw a review mentioning it was loose around the waist (72cm on the website), but the waist size is adjustable via a back ribbon. So, It was fine with me.
I like how it fits in the EGA style, but for EGL (like in Boogie and Sena's photos promoting the product) it doesn't look as comfortable as it looks tight on the bust with all the layers. I don't know how to say this without sounding weird, but the waist is really high, like, it's below the nipples... That part isn't adjustable. If you tighten it too much, it crushes your ribs lmao... Really high.
The fabric is light and quite interesting internally, comfortable. But the Blue X Black version has a prominently visible interior with just the Moi Meme Moitié logo written as a text, nothing too flashy and even somewhat annoying in my view. I've never been a big fan of this diagonal "text" thing, it seems very tacky.
The buttons are slightly golden in the Blue x Black and somewhat matte, like "old gold" but it gave me an appearance that it is not polished and worn out. One thing I didn't like much was the length from the tail, which for a tall person is quite short and disproportionate.

Sorry, I meant to say "Fits a 2009 Macbook Air covered in Matin stickers" ::mana::

Please, "Not entirely professional" is practically our motto XD
I did take the liberty of adding the link to the product in your post so people can see what you're talking about.

It comes with the territory I guess - people seem to like that bit of trade dress. It's like the pink-and-white stripes inside Herschel bags. But I'm with you, I'd prefer a nice but featureless fabric.

I'm wondering how much of the oddities in fit are just because you're (presumably) not a little Japanese munchkin girl. That's one thing I've heard about Moitie from day one, the people who really love its fit are the ones shaped in one way or another like 日本人.

Thanks for the review, it's fun to hear some field reports from actual Mana Merch wearers.
As for me, I've been using the bag on days when I'm not already hauling around some other bag. It's just barely big enough to fit a 10-inch LP (in its sleeve) into.

I'm a mixture of an ogre and Misako Aoki.
But yes, I'm not even a woman. I was seriously wondering if the "Lady" size would fit me. It turned out that I had to "mutilate" the garment, with adjustments for me. I think that since I paid for it, I have the right to tinker with it, even though I've seen people on Twitter complaining about doing this to pieces (Moitié, Baby the Stars, Alice Pirates, Atelier Pierrot).

Might be time to get something checked.
It's cool to say "It's Lady's size".

Returning to the past with a Review... Heels and boots from Moi Meme Moitié. ::squeeeee::
Stretch Long Boots: Well, released in 2002, they produced a few editions that were sold in MmM's physical stores, where I bought them at the time. The heel is quite tricky to walk on if you're not very good with platforms, but if you're an expert with stiletto heels, the heel is 16cm. They're made of a very firm leather-like material, for a much more Kyommu No Naga deno Yuugi aesthetic. Inside, the insole is blue and goes all the way up to the knee. The way it's worn is very good, but when worn without tights, it can make your leg sweat. I always chose to wear them in cold, snowy weather.
I believe they stopped selling when the stores ceased to exist and moved to online stores or places like ChouchouAnge, AP, etc... I believe the last time I saw them sold was in 2005.

I believe I bought whatever shoes MmM sold at the time, right when I was invested in Gothic Lolita. So, I think there are other interesting heels for me to review.
A photo about.

No real leather even back in the glory days, huh?
Now what I'd be really curious about is an old vs. new comparison, but I doubt you bought any new Moitie boots if you have originals.

Pairs well with Kozi's "Broken Butt X-Ray" t-shirt ::meev::
Did you learn to walk in them? I'm not a heel wearer of any note, don't have anything higher than cowboy boots myself.

When I was a child, my sister and I climbed onto cans of powdered milk and walked on top LMAO... I think that helped me a lot to keep my feet and ankles steady. But I always liked crossdressing, so walking on platforms and heels was something I learned from a very early age .

I was looking for new reviews, and you remembered me, when I was dating, I gifted my girlfriend a pair of the classic "corset platform shoes". One day, she told me her old colleague said her shoes looked like "big bugs".
"It is like wearing big bugs"; Moitie shoes were 8 or 80.
