I think you have to register fully new for it ._.
Not sure though.
Maybe you just can pay the Platinum amount and don't need to pay registration fees since you are already MA.

I think, I read there can not be a change, so... I didn't tried another way, but maybe they would answer your question by mail ö.Ö
(It seems, that they started to answer, so why not trying it?^^)

Mid-term membership upgrades/downgrades are not available

so that would mean that when your member ship end you may be able to upgrade.... but i don't know how it works ._.
