What takes you the longest in the morning? I'm going to assume hair and make up will be the winners xD

For me honestly it's just getting up and getting ready. I sit around and vegetate for 30 some odd minutes before I finally start to get ready for work xD I've always been like that though. Yet overall it takes me only about 10-15minutes to get ready. My sister takes a good 40minutes getting ready for work every morning. A women at my work says she wakes up at 4 every morning to do her hair and make up.

I usually shower and straighten my hair the night before and I eat breakfast at work. I don't do a lot with my makeup because it's just work, there aren't any cute guys there.

Getting up. I have that "sleep" button on my alarm clock, where you press it and then it goes off ten minutes later.
I keep doing that for like, 30 minutes, until suddenly I'm running late and I have to jump out of bed and do everything else in a hurry. ::kisaki::

My makeup is about ten minutes. My hair...15-30 minutes.

Gettign up...if I have class I get up within 10 minutes. If I don't have to go anywhere I'll lounge for a good hour though. XD

I wake up an hour and a half before I need to leave. Not because it takes me that long to get ready, because it takes me a looong time to wake up in the mornings, and I have a routine that helps the process. XD I don't like to rush out the door.

For me its definitely getting up XD Sometimes hair/make up/jewelry can take like a little more than 10 minutes but getting up can go on for almost 20

I have to get up and run to turn off my alarm (its a really annoying song, and I put an annoying song on purpose), but I return to my bed and fall asleep again. Sometimes I freak out when I wake up after falling back asleep and see that I only have like 15 minutes to get ready ::kisaki::

After that, I turn into The Flash.

I had to pick other. For me the longest part of my morning is checking my email, forums, blogs, etc. Which I feel compelled to do EVERY time I get up.... and several dozen more times throughout the day.

My makeup only takes 10 minutes, tops. I should spend more time on my hair though. Ah well, after I get it cut back. Right now it's so friggin' long the only thing to do is let run wild around my shoulders and down my back, or to pull it back.

Clothes is the shortest. 2 minutes!

Initially I was really caught between that and makeup XD Until I realized that I often decide "F*ck that" in favor of more delicious sleep.

My days usually start somewhat like this:

Five Different Alarms: *Go off loudly and annoyingly from every possible direction*

Me: O_- ?!!!?!!? *jolts awake in a pure panic, promptly falling off the edge of the bed (thankfully it is low to the floor) and onto one or two of the offending alarms* [insert a rather creative use of obscenities here] *sighs and lies prone for a moment or two*

Fat Cat: *decides that mommy needs to awaken, as the alarms are going off and that means MOMMY HAS WERK NAO. Pounces cally*

Me: MERCIFUL SHIT! *shoves cat off, proceeds to reset each and every alarm clock/cellphone in her general area in hopes of getting another 15-20 minutes of precious sleep*

Horrible Loud Audio Torment: *ceases for the time being*

Me: *crawls back into bed for moar precious sleep*

Skinny Cat: *decides that she would like to cuddle* =o.o= *walks over and starts kneading at Cally's head in an attempt to drive home a rather big hint*

Me: *futilely attempts to shove the skinny cat anywhere but on top of her head, begging for some sort of peace*

Skinny Cat: *does not relent*

Me: *grumbles something profane and lifts the blanket up*

Skinny Cat: *crawls under for cuddle time*

Me: *falls back asleep*

Brother: *bursts in* HAY THAR U SEEN MAI LIGHTSABAR?! :O

Me: DIE. IN. A. FIRE.

Brother: o.o *backs away s l o w l y*

Father's voice: Stop being a bitch to your brother.

Me: EAT IT, OLD MAN!

Father: *may or may not be rolling his eyes and/or chucking the bird in cally's general direction*

Me: *falls back into delicious slumber*

Cellphone: *LOUD TEXT MESSAGE NOISE*

Me: *glares at cellphone, attempts to muffle the horrible loudness under a pillow*

Cellphone: *grows silent before ringing obnoxiously again*

Me: *Is filled with so much hate. Lets out a strangled cry of anguish and rage before grabbing the cellphone and hopes for the sake of the sender that it is of world-shaking importance*

Text Message 1: "Did I leave my pink sweater and matching purse over ur house? I wanna use them tonight and I can't find them! :O"

Me: *twitches and checks the other text message*

Text Message 2: "Will you cover for me on Wednesday? I have a date! "

Me: ............ *throws cellphone out of her room and into the kitchen*

Brother's voice: MY LEGO BASE! D:

Me: *covers face with pillow, hoping that the fates have mercy and she will die then and there*

Final Alarm: *goes off, signaling that she absolutely positively has to crawl out of bed that instant*

Me: T_T

...That would be what happens every day before I leave for work XD give or take a few events.

Getting up. I don't have a clock in my room so I just 'assume' it's too early to wake up and continue to sleep.

Ha! I only need one alarm and it wakes me up on the first beep. I thusly either roll out of bed or decided I'll sleep that extra hour after all (I always set it for 2 hours before I need to be wherever I need to be).

Of course, this is all only if I actually SLEEP.

I think I need way too long in the mornings anyways 'XD
Thinking off friends...I have about 1 1/2 hour, some of them have 15 minutes 8D

I picked shower even though it almost tied with the clothes/accessories and hair. In my house, I'm the 1st one to get up and it's usually quick; otherwise no one will get up and do anything.

Showering is awesome and enjoyable but I space out and take more than 10 minutes unless if I were late for class.

I chose makeup!

I can drag my ass out of bed with no problem, since I am used to waking up at a ridiculous hour.

Makeup and I are BFF, so I like to take my time and make sure it's just so. Since my makeup takes up a good portion of my morning, this usually means that I will pay little attention to other areas.

My hair ends up either pulled back in a pony tail or clip and my clothes, well...HA. Let's just say that it's a 1985 revival.

I can take up to an hour before getting off the bed.. so waking up is what takes me longer.
I HAVE to vegetate for at least 10 minutes before doing the rest =P

I set my alarm clock to wake me up for 2 hours before I have to go. The first 15 minutes I just lie on my bed, trying to wake up, then I go to bath, where I spend around 1 hour (so, I choose "shower"). I like to be in warm water so much, that I can't leave it! Then I have a breackfast and sitting in the Internet. After this I finally go to a University.

I don't have the luxury of snooze anymore D: Now that I live with my sister and have her dogs when my alarm goes off, even if they're sleeping with my sister they start to bark and cry. So you have to get up to feed them or you'll never be able to go back to sleep.

Getting up. My alarm goes off at 6:45 and I don't get out of bed until about 7:10. I only have ten minutes by that time to get dressed and ready to go.

My hair usually takes about three seconds since I don't really style it, but sometimes I have bad hair days that take upwards of ten minutes to make it look even vaguely sane

I get woken up around 7:30, but then I go back to sleep and wake up around 8:15. I love sleep.

Hair.

In the worst cases, my hair takes about an hour out of my day. I have to wash it, dry it, straighten it, and style it, it takes forever.

But, I don't shower every day, I shower ever other day.

In the best cases, my hair only takes 40 minutes for me to be happy with it.

Sometimes I just don't bother. on those days, nothing really takes me significantly long to do.
