Hair.

In the worst cases, my hair takes about an hour out of my day. I have to wash it, dry it, straighten it, and style it, it takes forever.

But, I don't shower every day, I shower ever other day.

In the best cases, my hair only takes 40 minutes for me to be happy with it.

Sometimes I just don't bother. :| on those days, nothing really takes me significantly long to do.
I shower every other day too. Why do people think that's gross? I use to wash my hair everyday and then I spent the night at this nasty girl's house and got head lice. Then well while I was crying and freaking out found out that lice prefer really clean hair. So ever since then I've cut myself down to every other day. Haven't had lice and my hair is healthy. Also my straightener is godly and I only need to really straighten my hair once after I shower and I don't need to do it until next time I shower. Except for touch ups ;)

Yeah, its unhealthy to wash your body or hair every day. Not only is does tap water have a chemical in it that is harmless besides drying skin/hair, (shampoo has it too) but the more you wash the more your body needs to produce oil so your skin/hair doesn't fall off. ::erm:: thus making you oily quicker, which makes you need to shower more, which dries the skin and hair. ::bleh::

My hair needs intense straightening every day. Dx

An ex-coworker (who had great hair) once advised me not to even wash your hair every other day. Just rinse it, and use a little bit of conditioner on the ends if you need to. Wash with shampoo every 3 or 4 days instead. but it depends on how oily your hair is, I guess.

I never shower everyday, unless I work out and need to. It's a pain to shower everyday! Especially in the morning, so I shower at night before bed instead. Hence why I didn't even consider that option. If I were to shower in the mornings in the same manner that I do at night, then that would take me the longest. I like a good, hot 30 minute shower, followed by moisturizer, foot and nail care, and a blow dry for my hair (which is so long and thick that it irritates me to air dry it).

Do we have a shower-time poll yet? *goes to check*

That's not good for you! T_T. You should just try to wake up a bit earlier so you can do both! :)

What kind of straightener do you use? If it's something cheap I'd recommend dumping a bit of money into a nice one. Ever since I bought my expensive straightener I love it! It doesn't take long to heat up and the effect last for days :)

I'm the only one who voted breakfast  .
Well, getting up, doing my make up and putting in my contact lenses takes some time, but can't be compared to my sitting at the table:
I'm always on the edge of falling asleep, sometimes I rest upon my cup, nearly giving in to the urge to doze off.

Maybe it's just some kind of "getting up" delay ... you stay in bed, whereas I try to sleep on my cup of green tea.

LOL I know what you mean. When you wake up you're awake because you need to do things, get dressed and stuff, then when you relax you get tired again.

I voted breakfast too 8D
When I get up, the first thing I do is eat my breakfast, so I can get progressively used to the fact that I'm not in my bed anymore, and it's much easier for me when I'm seated XD Ah and I also -need- to read the journal every morning while eating. Even if it's not interesting. I'm always reading something when I eat, at any meal, don't ask me why Oo

(A little late, but whatev) My Dad used to really pound it into me "Shower every day or you'll be greasy and the girls won't like you blahrahgrrahbah!", but as Amatsu said, my hair definitely seems to be less greasy when I don't wash it daily. In fact, since my hair remains so clean, non-greasy, and manageable for so long, I almost feel like it's even a waste to wash every other day. I always stick to the every-other-day schedule, but even that is probably more than what's necessary

I don't think anybody should wash their hair daily, and the only people who should wash their bodies daily are athletes or people who work up a sweat on a daily basis. America has an odd obsession with over-cleanliness--we should take a page from Europe and the rest of the world and tone it down a bit.

My hair gets softer and stronger when I straighten it. ::erm::

Ah, I wouldn't know what happens, I've only straightened it like 3 times in my life. XD

I get up quite quickly but then I kind of pass out again while I'm on my way to get that large cup of coffee that I need desperately.

Which is also the thing that takes most of my time in the morning: the coffee survival.

Today I just realised I am the biggest bastard EVER when I have only 5 hours sleep.

I snap at the tiniest things and I just woke up like "o.m.g why the hell am I living with these creeps?:| Seriously I hate them all." XDD

And then I had to go shopping with my mum like 20 minutes after I woke up and I was like a zombie XD. I told her not to speak to me until we got there :lol: And then when we got there I got a Dr Pepper and when I opened it it went ALL over me -____________-;
