double post OH NO.
But like, someone felt a need toactually do a study on this lol

Since when was common sense passed off as science?
I can understand the occasional post about a SO, but I do agree it's a little strange when it's an over and over sort of thing. Sometimes I see congratulatory posts for something the SO did and I think that's really sweet, or they have fun together somewhere, etc. But I've seen the really odd/over the top and humble-braggy ones too.

To add some evidence, Elisa said she forced her fiance to get a Facebook account (she made one for him) so that she can tag him in status updates and pictures. So there's definitely this pressure to show certain things on Facebook, not just to show a pic, but to REALLY show you're together or then it's "just not the same." She doesn't post a lot about him, but I thought it was interesting that she actually said it was to tag him in posts.

Anyway, today was my last day at my internship and I'm going to miss it! I actually did one last signing and filed their bankruptcy ALL BY MYSELF! :B Our supervisor got us cupcakes and we took some pics. It was nice. Jennifer and I went to HB Burger and it was absolutely delicious. We talked about stuff and it was a nice time.

She's actually made a turnaround too. We have a volunteer who is doing her pro bono hours and she's already an attorney. I overheard Jennifer teacher her how to use the bankruptcy software and at some point the lady was all, "I don't get how they get so much debt." Jennifer responded in a stellar way.

The lady made another lame comment in front of our supervisor and our supervisor told the lady that we're not here to be judgmental and that debt can happen for many reasons, there's also predatory lending, unexpected circumstances, etc etc etc. Seriously. Jennifer piped in that that's what she learned after her whole experience here too, just all of the reasons that people needed to file for bankruptcy.

I saw Howl's Moving Castle at the theater last night, as part of the Studio Ghibli Festival, and it was spectacular. I actually love it more now. I always loved it when I first saw it in 2005, but maybe I have more of an appreciation for it now. I just felt full of wonder and I loved the art, the music, the shots, and all the characters. I loved searching for little details, the way each shot was set up, I loved the old age theme too. I also really like how Sophie showed compassion towards nearly everyone.. I think it's tied with BatB now.

There's a scene towards the end where Calcifer gets really big and strong and starts moving the castle to find Howl, and I seriously felt a sort of "HERE WE GO" and full of wonder, like I was genuinely getting excited and was so happy for these characters. Woah. It was all absolutely enchanting @.@

Currently feeling torn between getting the tattoo I've been wanting and cutting myself out from visiting Onsens and the like in Japan.

Went in to a coffee store for a hot chocolate today, the girl working there greeted my with her back to me, which was a bit odd. The other girl working there who handed me my drink sort of wandered up to me, passed it to me and then kinda... drifted away.

Some of them, a lot of them, do now - I've been to onsen before. My friends have too.
Then some places will still let you in, assuming it's not an offensive tatoo, or that you cover it up.

But yea, basically I've been going through the same thing for a few years now.
I decided to go for the tatoo. It will be done it september and I'm sure it will bar me from all onsen, ever.

What will your tatoo be of?

I still think it's a bad idea :P

Oi, sergeantkitty, if you're reading this, your password reset emails aren't working because the email address on your account doesn't seem to work anymore. Email me yourself to get it sorted out!

Yeah, I went to Oedo Onsen Monogatari a few times when I went earlier this year and really liked it, I'm planning on going back to Japan around Halloween/October so I'll try and drop into some more.

What are you going to get done? Mine is something I've been toying with for ~7 years, starting with a half-sleeve and eventually expanding it to a full sleeve. It is going to cost a fortune though as I would have to get a really good artist to do the final design/ink it.

teetotaller that I am now. :P
*high five* XD Good luck with your Japan application!

First time I was ever called that was a couple of years ago when Richard was wondering if I was a teetotaler, but I didn't know what that word meant at the time. I don't think I'd mind ever drinking with him though. According to people he gets hilarious and silly.

I feel like I've encountered a writer's block for my next scene due Tuesday. It only has to be 3 pages, but I feel like I don't feel as "inspired" right now. I'm also working on editing my first film so I feel like I want to get that done first instead of working on the scene. It's a weird feeling.

I also feel kind of limited with the rooms we have to use XD I used the kitchen-looking room for the first short, but I kind of want to mix it up and use the room that is smaller and... looks like a plain room. There isn't much inside, but I can put in a sofa or tables or chairs. Except I can't conjure up my imagination right now to really think of something interesting.

I wrote a page of something, but I don't think it's really there yet and I don't know if I really "see" it. Then I kind of want to use this antique looking phone, but how am I going to get everyone looking like they were from the 1900s-1940s? XD And then I'd have to make them all talk old-fashioned too. I'm a 1920s nerd, but still. Or maybe...
omg.... MAYBE I GOT THIS.

I got Elder Scrolls Online today and I hope it's good. I miss playing Skyrim, even though my 360 is right here, and I'd like to continue it somehow. ::teef::

In my final acting class today I was asked if I have photographic memory because they said I learned the lines so well after only having the script for a few minutes. I noticed that I make people laugh without really trying though, like with my timing and reactions. I can't wait to continue doing this!

Alcohol has never had any appeal to me, I'm more of a tea drinker, British roots I guess.

and thank you! The applications open next month, I think it would be a good break from what I had previously been doing and then I can sort out how I want to proceed after the year is up! :D

Nothing too fancy. 死体 on my back, the shi in burgundy and the tai in black. I had it written by a caligrapher so the font is what I want.

What exactly would your design be though?

It is a bit hard to explain, basically a cluster of roses covering the entire arm, jutting between the roses/in spaces I want all sorts of things, gothic steeples penetrating through, two crossed rapiers, a crow/crow skull, an owl, old clock, some occult/tarot/alchemical imagery. I also wanted the goddess Diana worked into it somehow along with some other goetic imagery (Stolas) and the angel playing the viola from the voyage album (I imagine this part being on the inner bicep).

I'm not terribly sure how to put it all together, which is why I'd need to get a good designer, haha.

Oh, I should mention this is all to be black and white, I still need to think about it a bit, but it has grown and mutated from my original idea of 'a few purple/black roses around the chest/shoulder area from when I was 18, hah.

My friend's friend helped him design his tatoo, and it's nicely compositioned. She's an artist artist and a tatoo artist.
If you'd like more info pm me or something and I can get you her details.

Man, I don't know what the word to describe my filmmaking teacher is, maybe "common"? Some word? XD

I helped out my classmate film his short and it was really fun. The second half of the class was us reviewing our new scenes. I've been feeling distracted so I think my new script needs work. We read everyone else's and got to mine.

At its very base its about two old friends, both now women in their 20s, and they're coming home from their friend's funeral. So after it was acted out my teacher asked if they were lesbian lovers in the past. I said no, they're just good friends... He said maybe they used to be lovers, but then it stopped. I said no, they're just old friends...

He said I need to make it hotter and "higher." Like, did the two friends have a threesome with the friend who died? I said no, they were just all childhood friends...

o___O So again he reiterated to make the stakes higher. I can understand making something more "interesting," but I didn't understand why there needed to be some intrigue in that way XD

How do we add some excitement here
-- LETS MAKE THEM LESBIAN LOVERS!
-- LETS MAKE THEM HAVE A THREESOME!

It seemed so... something. I just noticed how it was never about, "Hey, what kind of story do you want to make?" It was more him throwing in whatever without considering if it would really fit with what I wanted to say. I'm re-working the first half though after Brennie said something interesting and was something I already had in mind.

I feel continually disappointed in my teacher ::meev:: At least I can do my own thing and I'm learning a ton of stuff, but yeah.

My dad told me that his good Chinese friend's sister is a producer in China and has made a bunch of good films since the 1990s. She was disappointed that her niece didn't want to take over her production company or learn about film. My dad told his friend that I'm going to China soon and that I'm interested in photography and filmmaking so his friend told his sister that and now I'll meet her when I'm over there! I'm just eager to learn :BBB

I meant to ask... Were these really the words he used? I myself have never left a funeral thinking, "I wish that funeral had been a little saucier and hotter... Needed some spice..." I don't know, but it seems a little inappropriate ^^;

I had a dream I went to my friend's apartment (I don't know who this person is, but in my dream he was my friend). Then I went downstairs and I was flirting with Humphrey Bogart at a hotel and that I was in its swimming pool with friends, some who I met through XBOX Live, and Ava Gardner was there too, wearing a really nice white dress. XD There was another actress there, but I forget who it was now. There were also some strange experiments being done on people that made me feel strange. This is super random as I haven't seen any movie with the two of them in a really long time. I missed having these random dreams!

LOL. Yeah he said, "Make it hotter and higher." XD His first piece of advice was fine though, like he wanted me to tie in the phone thing more with the rest of the scene, like to their childhood, and I agreed with that. Then it derailed. Brennie was the only person who came up with the illness idea, something I already had in my mind but just didn't write out. Later I thanked her for saying that because it was very useful.

A FUNERAL.... TWO WOMEN.... AND ONE MASSIVE ORGY!

I generally don't want to overcomplicate things. I don't think life is always some DRAMA or ORGY, sometimes there are nice moments of peace. Like in Howl's Moving Castle, the scene that really stuck out to me was Sophie sitting on a chair by the shore and just looking out at the water and she says she feels at peace, you see the sun shining through the dark clouds, the flowers moving, etc. Then she goes back into the castle and the next scene commences.

Anyway, with my first scene, where I had all my drama at the start and then had my character getting over it, then having a pleasant time, my teacher said he kept thinking there would be some huge twist in the end, like maybe the new girl he's dating is some undercover spy or the sister of his ex-wife. I thought that was sad... Why can't my character have a genuinely nice time after everything he went through? XD

Maybe he wants mine to be more like Miranda's. Her newest one is about a girl seeing a therapist, and telling the therapist that she slept with a married man she met at a bar and it was glorious, she goes on about that, and that his wife had a "Sahara pussy" so that's why he slept with her. She looks him up on LinkedIn and apparently he's LOADED too. The therapist is actually the wife so the wife leaves the room and it ends there.

god i know im so boring

I'm seeing Shannen this Saturday, I can't wait! I'm making get-togethers with my friends before I go off to China ^^~

My supervisor from my internship gave me a glowing review and said all the clients really liked me and thought I was sweet and helpful, that I have a great disposition, and that I'm also a hard worker ::batsu:: YAY!
